    How many points for survival?

We will probably beat Millwall and Doncaster and loose to Southampton giving 46 points. if Bristol only draw with Barnsley we can scrape through on GD over them on 45 If Bristol beat barnsley we need an extra point at Southampton to get thu on GD over Barnsley on 47. :pimp:

    How many points for survival?

Updated:3 matches left Portsmouth winning away at Donny effects nothing (unless they win all their 3 remaining games) Millwall have gone out of site with wins over 2 last games. Bristol v Barnsley on 21st is still the cruncher, if Bristol beat Barnsley we might wind up level with Barnsley and...

A little bit of straw clutching here but ....

:pimp: crunch game is Bristol v Barnsley (on 21/4/12) :pimp: They are entitled to expect to win that, but if they do we're a bit knackered! We'd then probably need 47 total to stay up (two wins Doncaster and Millwall + two draws Burnley and Southampton - ouch!) :pimp: mark my words!

A little bit of straw clutching here but ....

If we draw tomorrow (today now) we need 1 win (Doncaster) from the last 3 to have a shout. if we loose we need two wins (Doncaster and Millwall) from the last 3 - both possible! :pimp: keep fighting!

    ooops! here's a sobering thought!

We'd all like more, but our position in the attendance averages is 14th, 17th is only 3 below that. So we're punching about our weight! Our average gate this year is 15000 Middlesbro are next above us and their average gate is 2500 higher than ours so they've got more revenue to play with. and...

    ooops! here's a sobering thought!

Well it can't be lower than those in league 1 & 2, but our average position over those 7 seasons I listed (2004-11) was 17th. Its mediocre.... but not abysmal. Maybe the city of Coventry, risen from the ashes, deserves more? But whatever the stats. say I think our whole team are a credit...

    ooops! here's a sobering thought!

It strikes me that SISU have been reining in the Finances. If we still get away with staying in the division, we will have achieved no worse than previous seasons and saved a bucketful. Lets hope we get away with it..... and they are in a better position to spend next year.......? Will...

just as we stand on the precipice with just 4 matches between us and a big drop. Will we drop or will we get away by the skin of our teeth? WE'RE THE CHAMPIONSHIPS BIGGEST LOOSERS!!! 2004-2012 we've lost more than everybody in the Championship! click here In a world where the sad fact is...

    How many points for survival?

"We are no nearer achieving our task than 6 weeks ago....so a monumental improvement needed in the next 4 games." True, but our recent form is good, and it depends who you are playing - Southampton is a tough one but the other three are softer than games relegation rivals are facing. "Good...
