Did One Man Change Modern Football Worldwide?

Getting fans to pay off their owners investment? Can't see anybody being up for it myself.

    breaking bad

Community is great, and Alison Brie would so get it, if not too cheesy! Still think The Wire is above Breaking Bad, because of it's greater scope, but Breaking Bad very, very close to it, and would say that Ozymandius, right towards the very end, so no spoilers, one of the best hours television...

    Film Thread 2015

Enjoyed Avengers: Age of Ultron Sunday night. Pretty much mindless action, but as ever with Joss Whedon some good, witty dialogue, James Spader as Ultron was pretty good.

Club aims to raise £35m from bond

I'm surprised that Richardson isn't leaving his £10 million in the bond scheme to be honest, £650,000 a year for 7 years and his £10 mil safe as houses with the richest rugby club in the World. Would give other investors confidence that he was putting his money where his mouth is, rather than...

Club aims to raise £35m from bond

No problem with anybody getting funding for a project myself, but would assume that they have tried the more traditional route of getting funding from large financial institutions and none touched them with a bargepole, hence this bond.

Club aims to raise £35m from bond

To be fair it has been an extremely long honeymoon period with Wasps. He must be exhausted.

    Papering the crowd?

They're adding a few new tiers on the pricing structure. Level One - Free to National sponsors. Level Two- Free to local sponsors. Level Three - Free to local schools. Level Four - Free to any school. Level Five - Free to old peoples homes. Level Five - Free to anybody drunk enough in...

Club aims to raise £35m from bond

Don't see how the Sunday Times article can be seen as anti-Sisu by anybody. Just a press release presented as news really, which is what a lot of journalism is reduced to nowadays sadly.

Been watching that space to see if a new ground will appear in it for longer than the last 12 months.

Wasps in talks to takeover Ricoh

Said much the same(though far more concisely!)on GMK some years ago, along the lines of " If I wanted to cheer on good financial results I'd go to a fucking Tesco' shareholders meeting". Might need to update that one!

Wasps in talks to takeover Ricoh

Should imagine that the lease would become effectively freehold and clean of restrictions once existing contracts on the site come to an end. 125 years, and 250 years effectively offer that. The initial length of lease offered by CCC to ACL was far too short for the amount paid for it.

Wasps in talks to takeover Ricoh

There are articles where they say they would accept a long lease too. Do you believe that Fisher won't bring us back to the arena then? Despite us actually fucking being there?

Wasps in talks to takeover Ricoh

Do we own the Arena then or are we not back? Bit confused, because obviously it must be one or the other then?

Wasps in talks to takeover Ricoh

I find it amazing how certain people can keep going on about Sisu only wanting the unencumbered freehold, when it isn't true at all.

Wasps in talks to takeover Ricoh

I stopped reading when he went on about fucking renting a house. Never see it as you pay a fortune to rent a house off somebody, you're only allowed in it 20 odd days a year, though you get stung with the Council Tax for the whole place each year. They then sublet it to other people the rest of...

Wasps in talks to takeover Ricoh

Apparently Wasps,(according to some) paid an extra £1million to extend the lease to 250 years, around 20% of the ACL purchase price. I'm still wondering when the Charities Commission are going to look into how Higgs managed to lose so much money on their original investement? Was a scandal...
