I'd keep Bidwell as left sided centre half, if we don't get Clarke-Salter long term. Would happily take Maatsen back, or McCallum and have Shipley as the back up LWB. From all accounts we could lose Rose on a free, and Fadz is only good for 1 more year max, so centre back is a key position to...

Thought Hyam was superb yesterday. Fulham were whipping in some decent crosses in the 2nd half and he was wining all the headers. No he doesn't have pace, but long term, Hyam alongside Clarke-Salter & Rose, or players in that ilk with more pace and he is fine.

I'm in the Fulham end, and dreading it. However I think we'll give them a game but badly need Fadz back for this one. Hoping for a score draw

Fed up with people saying we lack the quality that other teams possess...Why because those players are paid more? Did we lack quality when we thrashed Fulham & Sheff Utd, or got a 2-2 draw at Bournemouth? We need extra bodies in the squad to deal with a 46 game season, and injuries that occur...

Forest will try and expose our lack of height at the back I am sure. I fear corners and free kicks near the box then. I am sure we will cause them problems at the other end though. Hopeful of a score draw here. Can't see us keeping a clean sheet.

If JCS & McFadz are out I'd prefer we threw in an U23 player to the defence rather than putting Sheaf back there again. Jay McGrath or George Burroughs, maybe the new guy Alabi. I guess Bidwell will play there though, with Maastsen at left wing back, allowing Sheaf & Hamer back into midfield...

Totally agree. He wasn't merely adequate against QPR and Peterborough, he was excellent. Technically he has the attributes for that position, and I would be comfortable with Shippers being a back-up to Bidwell in that position next season. However, as you say he is lost in midfield.

Agreed. Thought he was great in Leagues 1 & 2, great left foot, spectacular goals etc. if he’s kept on, it can only be as back up Left Wing Back. Maatsen won’t be here next season and presume Bidwell will be first choice. I’m sure he would prefer to drop to League 1 and play as a midfielder.

That’s it for Shipley now surely. Completely anonymous. Waghorn too. His legs have gone, and Robins has to try and move him on in the summer. Hopefully we’ll see more of Jones and Tavarres before the end of the season. Otherwise I thought we battled well, Viktor has to take 1 of the 2 chances

Such a delight watching this team. Going 1-0 down against the form team in the division, and having lost our last 2….Win 4-1.

Back to the box. Hyam for Rose. Sheaf for Waghorn, O'Hare for Godden. Allen much better playing more advanced. Got some strength on the bench too with Tavarres, Godden, Dabo & Waghorn if need be.

I would argue we are missing 4 players tonight that would be in our best staring X1 O’Hare Hyam Sheaf Dabo I would also make a case for Eccles.

That’s the poorest I’ve seen us play for a long time. We were consistently 5-6 out of 10 across the whole team. Robins needs to occasionally give a flair player a start, Jodi Jones, Tavarres etc.

Our defence needs some serious work in the summer. McFadz was poor today and he’s been rusty since coming back into the team. I’d give him another year, but not necessarily as a starter. Really not sure about Rose, for all his attributes, he makes errors and I’m not sure if he is physical enough...
