With medical advances and recovery methods, many players are coming back from knee injuries with a lot of success. If someone bid for him now they'd get a better price than if they waited for him to regain form, etc. Might be worth a chance for someone but I don't want to see him go.

Just looked at the BBC website scorers list and McNulty is joint top with Hylton in terms of goals per minute (1 goal per 145mins) out of the divisions top scorers.
