Respectfully mate, I would change your user name if I were you. ‘Mong’ isn’t really ok these days. For some reason Coventry seems to be a place where it is a popular slur.

    Summer transfer window 2024

I think it would be a huge mistake if the club were to cash in on either Simms or Wright. Given how long it took them to really get going it feels like we’ve only had half a season of them both playing well. I think the club will hold onto them both for at least another year and see if we can...

I'm not sure people are making excuses, I just think people are say that it'll be ok and it's not the end of the world.

So in your view, tiredness doesn't affect players, any of them? Ever, not at all?

Match Thread Coventry City - Queens Park Rangers Match Thread - Saturday 4th May

I don't find it hilarious I find it depressing. So we aren't very good at the moment, we aren't winning games, it's disappointing but we are in a solid position as a result of good form earlier in the season so it doesn't matter that much.

You keep repeating this view that tiredness is a terrible excuse. Could it be an explanation not an excuse? What do you put it down to? The keeper being a 'pussy'. There has to be a reason why we are losing games, oe part of it might be that the team is tired and overstretched, maybe?

We could just cry and spend the season waiting for daSilva and Palmer to play badly and jump on here every time they do I suppose. I don’t feel like living that way myself. Different strokes I guess

I didn’t make an excuse. I’m bored with moaning idiots. We’re playing well. Be positive, life’s better that way. If we lose we lose.

What is wrong with all of you moaning twats? We’re a tired weakened team against a very good side and we’re playing really well. Palmer and daSilva included. Get a grip

Difficult though, so many of our team have only had a half of a good season (Bidwell, Saka, Simms etc)

Match Thread Blackburn Rovers - Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 27th Apr

With Niorwich winning it's all a bit moot. It would be nice to win, just to end the poor run but the team have that look about them like they know there is nothing on it. I think we will probably see out a draw. There's nothing to bring on that will make a difference.

We really need to bring on some attackers. Godden has been totally pointless and Da Silva out of position. There seems to be no leadership or desire. That said, their goals have both been lucky. We can get back into this but not with this team.

Match Thread Coventry City v Manchester United - FA Cup Semi-Final

I am so gutted about today. It feels so unfair. Travelling back into London with all the Manure fans chanting their arrogant bollocks. That is a cruel decision and I am firmly against VAR. No one would give that as offside. Penalties are so hard to take and two years running. But we were...

Match Thread Southampton - Coventry City Match Thread - Tuesday 9th Apr

I think of Southampton as a similar sized club to us, a one-club city with a couple of good moments and a decent history. When I was a kid we were always similar. Norwich too. I’m glad we’re back to being at a similar level to these guys. I think we’ll get a draw and although it won’t help much...

FA Cup Thread: Examples Of Media Writing Us Off

You're not really coming across as a pacifist. You sound like an agitator. I'm am wary of anyone who uses the word 'snowflake'. I guess it describes people who are perceived as sensitive. They usually seem like people who are nice and not trying to upset people. I take it as a compliment. I...
