    Good Omen

I´m over from Spain for a few days and will be going along tonight. I´ve not seen them lose since moving to the Ricoh (not that I´ve been too often), so hopefully this is a good omen for tonight´s game (and not the kiss of death)

    Man City vs Man Utd

Does this mean that all those Man Utd. "fans" from up and down the country who have never even been to a game will now swap allegiances !!

    Listening to the game abroad

Those of us living abroad can now listen to the footie (I think) on BBC Cov. and Warks. by downloading Expatshield, which apparently hides the ip address (whatever that is). It works for BBC iplayer, so I´m pretty sure it will work for the radio too. We´ll find out this afternoon. It´s free too.

    Best game I´ve seen

Also v Liverpool in ´83, when Nicky Platnauer scored with his face and then pocket dynamo Terry Gibson scored a hat-trick. I remember helping my mate empty his hip flask full of Glenfiddich, cold day but a great game.

    Best game I´ve seen

I remember the game but didn´t go due to an argument with the then girlfriend and missed a belter (wish I knew then what I know now !). My brother was at the game and waxed lyrical about it for days afterwards once his blood pressure had returned to normal. Another one I remember is when we...

    Best game I´ve seen

Thanks for the correction Cookie. Another game I was privileged to see was the 6 v 1 win at the Bescott in January 2004. The company I work for here in Spain was importing Marston´s Pedigree at the time (what a beer, think I drank more than I sold), so we got complimentary tickets as...

    Best game I´ve seen

I live in Spain so don´t get to see many games, maybe one or two a year if I´m lucky. Without doubt the best I´ve seen I believe was the last game of the nineties on boxing day at Highfield Rd. when we beat Arsenal 3 v 2. Three brilliant goals from McAllister, Hadji and Keane with replies from I...
