    Reflecting on SISU

I'd sooner put the whole sorry story behind us and just look forward to a new dawn. PUSB

Collins, Bidwell, Raphael, Bassette, Simms. There's plenty of options and much to debate, im sure we would have players lined up to replace them, but the issue is who would take them off our hands first?

    Reflecting on SISU

True, but there's bo doubt they squandered a golden opportunity.

Possibly, but if we do bring Godo in (for eg) and a CH, who do we leave out the 25 man squad?

    Reflecting on SISU

SISU and the Council were both to blame, the players and the fans were the victims of pathetic macho BS from both sides. Thank God MR stuck with us throughout and still gave us a team that was successful against all the odds, and left a legacy to be proud of. (You've got to love that guy)...

That will be a collectors item one day, 20th anniversary and biggest ever win at the stadium (so far), and on the day we make it ours.

I'd agree with you if Rapha goes out on loan. We only have 25 places available in the squad, and hes not likely to feature, hes already behind BTA who would fill in on either wing before Rapha (imho) not to mention pushing a FB further forward. So hes just taking up a squad position...

Not angry at all, did it come across like that? I just think we have decent attacking players already here. (And some not so decent) BTA looks like a rejuvenated player in his new position, and long may it continue. As we all know we are desperate for CH cover, more than anything else.

You have a point, but let's be honest, if Wright is fit, he starts. Regardless of the opposition. He's quite simply far better than anyone else we have. You can call it whatever you want, but in my view, he's first choice . BTA can play left or right wing when required, and with 2...

Edit I'd also add that he's shown he can have an impact on the left or right side. Maybe Frank has been working on him during pre-season, we certainly look more fluid, and the likes of Torp are now looking more dangerous this season. Although the quality of opposition hasn't been the best so far.

Because we dont need a third choice winger?

    BTA

BTA offered pace and power as well as the obvious goal threat. I think it suits him playing a bit wider than down the middle. I cant see Sakamoto walking straight back into the side, and maybe we don't need to splash the cash on that Godo player from Fulham? He's definitely keeping the shirt...

Torp can also pass the ball forward. Many is the time ive lost count of the number of sideways and backwards passes Sheaf has made. Im not saying Sheaf isnt a good player, but there can be no doubt that we are more dynamic with the current 3 midfielders. And as you pointed out, Sheaf cant...

    Ellis simms

@Calista As I said, no one was on Simm's back when he came here, he had a chance to be a fans favourite, but (again) as I said it only took a few weeks for people to realise how poor he was (he couldn't even trap a ball ffs, and still cant) Ive no idea what your trying to prove by...

    Ellis simms

The Donkey pictures didn't start until he'd been playing for a few weeks, it was obvious to some (myself included) that he was a poor player by then. I got pelters on here when he went on his (all too brief) scoring run, but I always maintained that he was a very poor player, and I stand by...

It's true. You might not think so, but its obvious to everyone who can look at, and asses a player without wearing sky blue tinted glasses. I hate to break it to you, but there's a reason why Frank isnt playing him, and that's because hes not very good at football.
