    Matchday Ticket Prices

Of course people are surprised. We didn't sell out a number of cat a games last season when kids were charged £25. We're now charging up to £35. It's a massive surprise. Increase in STs is minimal, the ground plan and available seats doesn't look much different to last season. We're not selling...

    Matchday Ticket Prices

We're talking the top A and A+ prices. We'll get a decent gate against Hull, but as soon as the first cat a+ game comes around people will swerve it and I hope they do. £36 for kids for a 12.30 televised game against blues early in the season is not the draw you think it is.

£100 bet to charity we don't.

    Matchday Ticket Prices

We're getting a bit carried away as a club. We introduced and charged for a st waiting list before we'd sold out and then didn't sell out anyway. Now we announce the highest prices outside of the PL, probably in Europe outside of a few elite clubs. All this at a club that last season had only...

Not here so much, one or two, but quite a few on twitter

People defending this, because they simply cannot bring themselves to criticise the club in any way, need to give their head a wobble. £35 for kids? It's outrageous.

There's no net increase for safe standing so would be the same I imagine. Guessing it is doable if there was the will and the need, although you'd probably lose a bit with additional exits etc.

Yes, I'm playing with AI a bit too much tonight, but this is apparently a 39,000 capacity CBS, achieved by adding 7 additional rows and lowering the pitch.

    season ticket sales

Yep. Actually quite a lot you could do with it because of the minimal design. Build out and up and completely change the look. The AI effort below is a bit ambitious, couldn't happen with current ownership, stadium or club, but it's a nice thought.

Re expansion, not that it's on the cards, but we could easily add 3-4K by simply lowering the pitch and adding 3 or 4 rows at the front. Fans closer to the pitch too. Much lower cost that adding an upper tier. Would probably need to build out a bit to increase concourse space though. Not a...

    Viktor Moving on

What's that, just over £3 million after Brighton get their share? Still, better than a kick in the nads.

    Item 25/26 Coventry Kit

Looks like something a 3rd set GCSE graphics student would produce with only word clipart to work with. I'm not the target audience, so my view is irrelevant, but that's awful. It's so bad I almost like it.

    CBS

Stopped a couple of days ago. This this might just be a small section behind where the new sign is going. Not sure if they do the rest, straight away at least.

    season ticket sales

Nobody has ever said that have they? Up until mid 90s crowds were much different to now. When we played Chelsea in the PL in 93/94 at Stamford Bridge the gate was 8000. Crowds did rise in the later PL years, last 3 season we were at 20-21K average, maybe they are referring to that brief period...

    season ticket sales

We simply have an oversupply of corporate seats, far more than any other club in the league, yet we price it at the same level, and higher, than others. Supply and demand. Price it to fill it if that's the aim, or price it high and accept you often won't. There"s no real mystery here.

    Item 25/26 Coventry Kit

True. I stopped buying the new shirts a few years ago, it's tat Besides, as a 49 year old fully grown human I've no business wearing a brightly coloured, low quality polyester shirt out in public. It's for the kids, but each to their own.

Looks like MVE has a new agent… [emoji848]

We were always going to lose someone of value and Milan always the most likely. Will be a loss on the pitch and off it, but we have to raise funds to strengthen the squad somehow. Put it into perspective, his sale value will be the equivalent to 30,000 season tickets, and we might get a couple...

    Pre Season Friendlies

It was £15 and £8 last season, so up a bit. It'll cost me £110 for the family for 2 glorified training sessions. Sensible decision is not to go, but what else I am going to do. Can't not go. I'm an easy sell.

8th Worst Stadium in the Country

Interesting if you look at the planning app for the new eon signs - https://planandregulatory.coventry.gov.uk/planning/index.html?fa=getApplication&id=273649 - if you view the officer report, it refers to eon as the 'sponsor of the club'. Could be a mistake as they obviously already sponsor some...

    Loyalty Points Issue

Ah, that might explain it for for me then. Scratching my head as to how I had lost so many but did buy home tickets for a few for others that season.
