Football League statement - Coventry City

No deal has been agreed, no talks have taken place and we won't be playing Cardiff at the Ricoh. Nothing petulant about it...the saga continues. But there may be an opportunity for both sides to move on now. But I anticipate several weeks of negotiation.

Football League statement - Coventry City

You are asking the wrong person in Grendel, let's face it he proclaimed the FL would not be making a statement on it yesterday, it would be left to the individual parties. RFC is the one with the inside informant, who prevents him speaking about what is actually happening due to...

Football League statement - Coventry City

Correct Chiefdave, both have to accept each others existence and work together. There has to be compromise on both sides, not the normal SISU it is our way or no way and forever moving goalposts. If I remember correctly the last time Fisher had a deal on the table it was wrecked by Seppala.

    Football league meeting today?

Except for the statement released by the FL this morning Grendel. Another one of your half wit opinions.

Football League statement - Coventry City

SISU have to pay the debt yet. No reason why they can't do that today rather than by 14th. Also are they still pursuing their JR nonsense. I see no reason why SISU can't make the first approach if they are serious about a Ricoh return. I think you will find they are not!

Football League statement - Coventry City

Bet they don't pay until August 14th. No reason why they shouldn't have it paid today, the money is there ready and waiting and I am sure they want that barrier to negotiation removed.

    Pressley - on the edge?

March 29 th 2-1 Crewe, we also drew 1-1 with Wolves penultimate game of the season who were Champions so not a bad result.

    Looks like we're back

Our fan base is nearer 15,000 to 20,000 than it is 10,000. You under estimate how many people have work commitments on Saturdays and follow the city. There are also lots of people who play football themselves but are still fans of the club. There are also people who are limited by...

    Looks like we're back

What about the fans who started boycotting the SISU regime before we left the Ricoh? What about the floating support (fans who can't attend every game) within the 10,000 average at the Ricoh. I would put our fan base around 15-20,000 rather than 10,000.

    Looks like we're back

From a poster who demands facts not opinion from others. It is good to see the unbalanced (Grendel and RFC) are bringing balance to the unbalanced reality of our club.

    Pressley - on the edge?

I think SP genuinely believes in the youth development and having a squad structure that allows them to breath and gives them the opportunity to develop. Youth players will never blossom by only playing reserve team football. He is also knowledgable enough to know all players need to put in...

It will be an interesting one to watch. I do worry for the future of football in this country.

I think RFC's real problem is he hasn't been in the bedroom for months!

    Pressley - on the edge?

I agree Grendel, SP is a good choice in our situation. CCFC desperately need some continuity in the management of the team. We need to get back to developing our own players. Either from our youth team or other people's rejects. SP seems to have a vision, determination and a sense of the...

    Football league meeting today?

It's a bit like the courts leaving it to the victim and the offender to tell their mates what it has decided.
