Least favourite Opposition player this season

Cantwell. Then he went and said something nice about us and made me feel bad.

    Match Thread Brentford

Superb performance. Closing them down and not giving them a chance to play. Solid defence and Walker finally shows his worth.

    Clive

I like him and in the midst of the action it is understandable he gets some of the players wrong. I do that sometimes; I would swear so-and-so scored or missed an open goal and it was someone completely different.

Got ours this morning. Both sizes correct. Did have a quick look for the name, but gave up after a minute or two. Fuck that.

Had my vaccine this morning. Like a military operation at the golf club in Leek Wootton. I was the youngest by a long chalk.

    Season 1984/1985 Part 2

The Everton game was the only match my late Mom ever went to. She loved it. It was a beautiful sunny day though. Score helped too.

    Festive fixture memories

During the 90s me and my mate went all over Scotland watching games from QoS (just over the border) all the way up to the Highlands. We only had one rule; we never went to top league footy. The biggest ground we went to was Kilmarnock and that was only because the game we were heading for was...

That was after his second spell in charge. Me and my mate had gone to Scotland to see Queen of the South. We heard about Gould resigning on 606 on the way back.

    Festive fixture memories

Maybe that's why the police sheparded us away from the street where we'd parked. I also remember it being a pretty nasty atmosphere, not helped by the score. Other thing I remember is the constant singing of "one man went to mow.." Do you remember Bobby Gould running onto the pitch?

You're right. Just looked it up, it was 1-0. Remember it being a terrible game.

    Festive fixture memories

Yes, I remember a lot of trouble. Have a memory of being behind the goal really close to the home fans with just a fence between us. They were throwing coins at us all the way through.

I remember a dreadful Boxing Day 0-0 against Middlesbrough at HR too. 81, 82 maybe.
