    Wasps downward spiral...

More good news for Wasps. The Saturday of the 2 day Soundscape weekender at the Ricoh has been canned. So now less of a weekender more an afternoon.

    Wasps action

Isn't that referring to when Accrington went out of business and reformed? I'd rather keep the existing club going personally.

2 year Ricoh Deal - Fake Rumour!

Thats what doesn't add up. The date of the vote is said by the EFL to be scheduled to allow it to clarify what happens with the play offs, promotion and relegation should we drop out of the league. But they have left it to the clubs to vote so you could have us there saying we have nowhere to...

    Place your bets....

By reply I assume you mean confirm where we will be playing, if anywhere, next season as the EFL have already stated they are in regular contact with the club. Assuming you do what do you realistically expect the response to be as Wasps continue to refuse talks?

    Council FOIs

Expecting a statement from the Trust any minute now condemning the councils response. After all they were never slow to get a statement out when the CT were firing FOI requests in concerning things Fisher had said.

    Council FOIs

Sounds like the Observer asked the council to evidence the recent claims that the statements Lucas made only applied to the deal the club had with ACL at the time. The council haven't provided the requested evidence and have hidden behind confidentiality. That's entirely consistent with the...

2 year Ricoh Deal - Fake Rumour!

There is, or at least was haven't checked in a while, meeting notes on the council website saying that if the council ever considered selling to the football club there must be clauses put in place to ensure the stadium could never be used to raise finance.

2 year Ricoh Deal - Fake Rumour!

That's fine but then why sell it to Wasps when you can ask exactly the same question of them. The willingness to move a club 90 miles across the country doesn't exactly present them as looking after the best interests of the fans.

2 year Ricoh Deal - Fake Rumour!

I'd love to believe these rumours but its seems convenient to me that rumours start circulating as soon as there is a suggestion that pressure be put on Wasps.

2 year Ricoh Deal - Fake Rumour!

Wouldn't be surprised if the EFL don't want to kick us out for fear of legal action from SISU. So they push the decision on to the member clubs. Of course if the vote then isn't to kick us out they have to let us play elsewhere but the blame doesn't lie with them. Sure all those CCFC fans that...

    Who do you blame?

Great post ceetee, certainly agree with this and I'm not sure why its a point that is so hard for many to comprehend. My take on this part is slightly different. I suspect Ransom sold SISU the investment along the lines of put in this much and you'll get this back. But he got his calculations...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Sure I remember the government saying the mess they made of this wouldn't cost the taxpayer any money.

    Who do you blame?

There's little to make CCFC different to anyone else. Either the stadium is sustainable or its not.

Roland Duchatelet demands EFL acquire Charlton

What about the people who have had their houses vandalised just for happening to know him and have nothing to do with taking over Charlton?

Will be happy if its true but sounds like completely made up rubbish from some anonymous social media account.

Roland Duchatelet demands EFL acquire Charlton

Protests are one thing, Charlton fans travelling to Belgium to trash his house and the houses of people he knows is a bit much.

Roland Duchatelet demands EFL acquire Charlton

It happens in other sports. Guess its the logical conclusion if you want to force and owner out but there is no potential buyer. He seems to be saying that the EFL rules allow huge losses which means to be competitive you have to be prepared to lose huge amounts of money. That limits the number...

    Wasps action

Really? A single Aldi store in Bell Green employs more people than CCFC does across its multiple sites? What are you basing this on? There are thousands of fans who aren't from Coventry, not to mention all the fans of the clubs we play who only visit the city for one reason. This applies to...
