Land potentially to SISU's advantage:
1 more ability for council to reduce rent
2 council have more control if SISU wanted to buy in to ACL
SISU seemed to get miffed because they wouldn't control the mortgage. A lost revenue stream for them (not for CCFC I may add).
Grendel has gone very quiet? He must be busy at work. Probably sucking corporate dick at some press conference to do with Land Rover, so unable to denounce CCC selling to Wasps.
It seems like Richardson started planning some of this before he even bought Wasps, so may not have included ACL all along in the planning stage. As pointed out on a Wasps forum, Peter Rossborough Coventry Rugby recalled discussing possibilities with him two years ago, as the Wasps fans pointed...
I am not a fan of SISU or Tim Fisher. But taking that interview on its own I can't really fault it. I would have liked him asked why they didn't bid as the Wasps deal seems pretty close to the one SISU were originally preparing?
It it seems at the moment the fans are more outraged than SISU.
Not likely/maybe/maybe/not so sure?
So like the rest of us you haven't a clue :thinking about::thinking about::thinking about::thinking about:
Or SISU haven't got the cash for a counter bid? It does seem an opportunity missed!
I haven't got a problem with ground-sharing...as long at is with a local team or a national event. But agree with the sentiment, the Wasps deal is wrong.
I hope people on here like Lewy...have actually signed the Wasps petition? It stands about 2,200 at the moment. Considering Wasps get 6-7 thousand and City get around 10 thousand at home...the petition should have more signatures!
