Wet ink, cheque books - does anybody still use any of that stuff .......I found a cheque book in the works safe last week (not the security boxes job in London, I hasten to add....) that was one third used and dated 2004. Didn't find a quill or a bottle of Quink, though ;)
I like Benji Buchel from Bournemouth on the basis that a) sooner or later we will get a decent player from them and b) what a fantastic name......'Benji Buchel bags brilliant brace' ...I want us to sign him :D
Never been on GMK so feel kinda left out; can I buy a badge, pay a subscription to become an honorary member, or do you all have a secret masonic handshake, a 'special' tattoo or a code word, and I'm never going to be able to join:pointlaugh:
I thought - shame - then read 'total for season ejected 4', one from L Orient, 1 from Gillingham and 2 from us!
Shows how statistics can be used to make a juicy headline:o
Agreed Wingy - it's a bit chaotic from the whole club's point of view if we now have to go searching for a new manager, and the message that will send to players we are trying to keep and attract. TM stays and it's suggesting a more solid platform.
I thought about Van Gool in the chocolate kit - also Rudi Kaiser, and remember that Philip Clement (was he the one whose missus got a slap in a Cov nightclub - might be dreaming that one?)
A full season, by its definition, is a bit more than a yardstick :o - although I agree, two turkeys does not an eagle make (oops, just given away my identity -off to feed the dog)!!
