    Season Ticket Sales

I haven't had a season ticket for a few years and won't in the future unless my lad gets the bug, as I cannot commit to all weekends because of family stuff. However, me and an old mate have bought a couple of the match packet deals, so that we can meet up, plus it will commit me to more games...

    Fixtures 15/16 Season

Don't let facts get in the way of a good story - spoilsport ;)

CCFC- what do we want on Match-days?

I agree with you Samo - although I do live in Warwick, and you have probably not picked a great example. If you can find anywhere to have fun around the town, I'd love to know where it is = and if you do succeed, my better half will ban me from going! :D

    Realistic good signings.

Can't we just blow the budget on these 2, play 8 kids across the back, and stick Oggy in goal?:D

    Strikers

I've heard Astute's got an ingrowing toenail, and Chinaman has velly bad wumatoid awthwitis if that affects the odds?

Villa bust up at cup final

Yep - if you are a bit down in the dumps, it's always a bit of a pick me up to see someone (particularly if you don't like them) fall flat on their face. It's true in life to an extent (if a bit sad) - wouldn't wish anything serious to those few people I dislike. However, in the 'unreal' world...

    Nagging Doubt

Apologies if I'm wrong, but due to a recent post/thread? about The Cherries, are you my old mate Mr L (worked together at Warks CC and you were better at cricket than football ;) ? Again apologies if I'm wrong

    Messi

Messi for me, every time. Ronaldo is fantastic in the air, but Messi's awareness of tem-mates positions on the piitch puts him on another level imho (oh, and he's quite good at dribbling, too!)

    Mark Bunn

I agree Wingy, it sounds like Bunn would rise to the occasion better in the pressure cooker :D;)

    Villa Scum

I felt a tad guilty in gloating at Villa's display (quietly, with can of Kronenbourg), but was a bit surprised that while the pundits picked on Grealish, they all seemed to ignore Benteke's performance, which I thought was total pants - as well as poor defensively, he gave up big time imho and...

    Jack Collison

Loads more games, and on worse pitches against cloggers - not the ideal recipe to recover!

    Unrealistic signings

    Razor Ruddock (in goal)

    the sack race website

you see at the bottom of that site, it says "moderated by RFC" OK - I am picking out the words Steve Pressley, RFC, Arse linked ......that's enough for me, it's Sunday evening and nothing is going to spoil my post antiques roadshow relaxation period ;)

Are we wanting a Preston win today?

My mum's just sent me a text - she's got hold of Beckford's shirt - wants £100 quid for it :o

Are we wanting a Preston win today?

History would say otherwise Stupot ;)

Are we wanting a Preston win today?

Agree with you Otis - think PNE are more solid side and will definitely be up there next season if don't win today. Swindon are less predictable and I don't like their fans - bunch of wannabe chavs - so hope they lose for that reason alone!

    How badly must the club

Thanks for that Grendel, i'd recorded the Southend v Wycombe game and was trying not to find out who'd won  ;)

    Investment rumour.

On a slight side note, somebody handed in a lost £2 lottery ticket to me at work today (I come across as a trusting sole - think that's what they say :pointlaugh:) and I'm going to check the numbers when the lottery is drawn on Saturday. Dilemma - if it is a winner (a big winner) - do I do the...

    Ernie Hannigan RIP

Saw him when I first started going as a 6 year old. Vague memories, but names like him Ernie Machin, George Curtis, Maurice Setters formed part of my formative Sky Blue memories, together with the smell of hot dogs on the walk up to the turnstiles on the Kop at Highfield Road. RIP
