If anyone is in Winchester I plan to be at the White Swan in Hyde Street for the game.

    Maddison

Looking on the bright side, he's also out of the shop window until the New Year and may mean we get to keep him for the second half of the season.

city miss out - what a load of rubbish

You asked where it said it, so I quoted it for you. Do you imagine Leeds said that only Coventry must pay out his contract? Of course Swindon did.

city miss out - what a load of rubbish

No fee has been paid to Leeds, hence he joined on a free. A sweetener was paid to the player so he agreed to leave Leeds.

city miss out - what a load of rubbish

"Leeds had wanted the club to cover the cost of paying up his two-year contract, where he’s understood to be earning three to four times more than the average City player, with the player looking for a decent settlement on the remainder of his deal."

city miss out - what a load of rubbish

It's because Swindon agreed to pay out his contract at Leeds, which was about four times the salaries we pay. I'm more confused by how Swindon can afford it; it seems obvious why we passed.

    Nicky Ajose?

How can Swindon afford this, as their attendances are lower than ours.

    Lateef signs

It's obvious to me. He hopes that this player doesn't do well, because he prefers a different player to succeed instead.

    What's your gripe?

Surely anyone doing that is a twat, irrespective of what car they drive. Yes, I drive a German car and I drive slowly and considerately. :) Actually, I find it's 4x4 drivers that are the least considerate as a generalisation.

    Mowbray on deadline day

If they were already signed they wouldn't be close to being signed.

I'd like to see a way of moving between forums on my mobile without lots of 'up's

    What's your gripe?

Agree. I don't understand atheism. If you are free-thinking enough to realise that religions are fabricated you'd imagine you'd also realise we know very little about the universe and almost anything could exist, even God. And yet so many people jump to the conclusion that if Chistianuty, Islam...

I think Mowbray will use the injuries to try out a new shape, putting both of the Kelly-Evans twins at right back. That'll confuse them.

    What's your gripe?

I don't like people using phrases they think make them sound posh, when in fact in may cases it's just wrong. In second place is "at this present time" or instead of "now". But the winner by a mile is using the reflexive personal pronouns "myself" and "yourself" incorrectly. It doesn't sound...

Are We Doomed To Failure ?

Because they are people and some people like to believe in luck. I don't. The ball hitting the post was predetermined from the moment he kicked it.

    What's your gripe?

I hate bureaucracy with a passion. There's an entire industry within most companies and governments who delivery absolutely nothing exception the movement of forms. It must be the most soul-destroying job in the world.
