My mate said to me yesterday, he was half hoping we'd lose to Swansea on Tuesday, as he didn't want SISU hanging on longer - as if they saw 40,00 City 'fans'(!) at Wembley, it would offer them hope, incentive to stay longer - I still want a Wembley trip (but would foresake it to get rid of them...

Agree wholehheartedly with this. If it's a short term sticking plaster tactic that works fine - but longer term no thanks (my mate started shouting ''hoof" every time one of our centre backs got it in sarcastic anticipation!

If I was a manager, I'd try it - particularly if we try and launch it (like we did unsuccessfully at Chesterfield) = then Beavon and Thomas etc can feed off the knockdowns. Rose seems to have a knack of getting on the end of things if you let him get forward.

Just having a butcher's at our next opponents, not realising that they're on a 13 game unbeaten run. With their meagre resources, it really highlights how much better we should be performing. Was expecting (ha ha) 3 points next week. Harder than I thought....
