    Trust Statement

Will be interesting to see if this is just something that will be put out and forgotten about or if they will be following it up with press coverage as they do with their other statements. Also key is what happens next. Is this just a check box exercise so they can say they've done it or will...

    Trust Statement

Well its an improvement but they've literally done the absolute minimum they could get away with after all the pressure put on them. IMO they should be speaking in far stronger terms about Wasps and dropping the indemnity requirements. And no need to caveat it with the legals, concentrate on one...

Nothing to keep us there anymore

Interestingly their current ground is owned by the council. When MacAnthony refused to pay the rent saying it was too high, their council reduced it by 40% and agreed to spend £1m on ground improvements. Now their council are doing everything they can to help them move to a new city centre stadium.

The Premier league is absolutely garbage

Loads of empty seats at the Arsenal v Newcastle game on Sunday. Man City v West Ham tonight is even worse.

Nothing to keep us there anymore

CWR need to get a grip. If Wasps won't answer questions, or will only answer them off the record, then that needs to be reported back to the listener.

    Offside law change

Except it isn't precise. There's a significant margin of error. The cameras are running at 50fps so if a player is running at around 15mph there's a margin of error well over 10cm. You've also got the issue of exactly when the ball is being played. Is it when the foot first makes contact with...

    Training Ground

Portable stadiums are actually being talked about as possibly the next big thing in stadium builds. I'd certainly take something like this in Cov over a couple more years in Brum.

    McCallum Sky Sports Special

I always used to think of Norwich, Southampton and ourselves as very similar clubs. We're certainly the odd one out now though.

    Saracens points deduction

Interesting comments from their council about how important it is to not put the council in conflict with the club as it may risk the financial and community benefit of having the club in the area.

Whatever happened to that report on Russian interference in our elections that was ready to be released months ago?

Don't think Wasps have ever disputed this. Its only been in the last couple of weeks since people have started bringing up the indemnity that the idea there's further issues to resolve has come up. Rather convenient for Wasps just when there starts to be questions asked about the indemnity...

    Wasps downward spiral...

Love this comment Can anyone name a single event that's taken place at the Ricoh that wouldn't still have taken place if we'd have been playing there? They were happily shifting our games to Friday night or any other time to suit events they had on even before we moved.

    Wasps downward spiral...

Think its a stupid route to go down. For a start you've created a league where every year all but a handful of games will be meaningless. What makes them think fans of lower half sides will keep paying week in week out to watch meaningless matches, or that the TV audience will bother tuning in...

That was Robins idea in his first spell here so would have been part of the 2012/13 season.

What level of rent do you believe was set in the original lease should the club be relegated to the third tier? The 'rent-free' deal only applied while the club was in administration. It was a PR move, nothing more.

Nothing to keep us there anymore

Even if Fisher was on CWR tomorrow morning saying they'd bought Ikea and put in a planning application you'd be looking at 5 years if you're lucky, more likely 10 or more, before a stadium was built. Therefore if we're going to play in Cov in the short to mid term the only option is the Ricoh...

    EU procedure update

The council approved a long lease for car park C in July 2019 on the basis that Wasps aquired planning permission by November 2019. The council said at the time "An additional hotel at the Ricoh Arena has been long-awaited and is much needed". A seperate hotel application was made near the...

    Indemnity and all that

I know there's some pretty shitty lawyers but can anyone really see Wasps buying the Ricoh without someone flagging up there may be an issue down the line. Standard way to deal with that would be for the seller to cover those costs so why wasn't that in the contract?

Tweet from CJ about Wasps protest

Would be in favour of a protest but why not just get a statement out condemning them ASAP. That can be done pretty much instantly.
