    £6-7m sale price?

I don't know where the asset lies but I do know how collateral works when mortgaged. If the land were sold then the mortgage would have to be paid off. If the land is worth more than the mortgage the monies would be transferred via a trusted third party on the same day.

He does say that he's excluding that from the valuation as he assumes it will be sold beforehand.

Wasps winning hearts and minds with CCFC fans

I think we can forgive them this faux pas - they get all woozy this time of year.

Match Thread Port Vale v Coventry Match Thread - Saturday 1st Oct

I'm a bastard and I find it offensive to be called Irish.

    SISU

I don't know about that; I recall them being fined for late submission of accounts, which is a very different thing. However what I am most certain about is that they do not like making a loss because somehow it enables them to reduce taxes. This is absolute tosh. Corporation tax is 20%; so...

They are off shore. Which tax specifically do you think they pay and need to write off elsewhere?

    SISU

Subscript: the only hope from protest is that the FA steps in. I don't think they will with such litigious owners.

    SISU

Nothing we do will ever make a difference. They will go only when it costs them more to stay than their expected returns. They certainly won't go until the court cases are exhausted.

    RIP Labour

I agree it would be good, however I cannot see the Tories splitting - why would they? I'd like to see the Liberals as a major party, I think they did an exceptional job in the Coalition and have been badly treated. The problem for Labour is that the SDP has been seen to fail - IMO that is the...

Or someone who thinks for themselves each time rather than always voting for the same party.

Things you miss most about the 'old' Coventry?

There was a record shop by Woolworths that I used to visit before I discovered punk (and hence only went to Virgin). Was it called Jill Hanson or is my memory poor?

I wonder if his faeces are too dark also.

    RIP Labour

I agree. I'm reading a biography of Mao just now and he was a very nasty piece of work even as a young man. The implication is that he got into communism because the russians paid him so much to be leader of his local branch. He then loved the power it gave him and stabbed every rival in the...

    RIP Labour

If you believe in international communism and haven't had a chance of power or influence for thirty years I imagine you'd be very excited. There's also many enthusiastic supporters who I believe to be naive and think it is a great thing.

    The end of Sisu?

    Since the 2011/12 season

I suspect that the turnover in players is caused by the turnover in managers.

    RIP Labour

It's not perfect but it works. With capitalism there will always be disparities in wealth because the emphasis is on each person to make of themselves what they will - not all will want to work hard and not all are born with the skills or persistence to make wealth. Despite all the rhetoric...

    RIP Labour

I was always puzzled why the leadership of Momentum described themselves as Trotskyists rather than communists. I knew that Trotsky had played a big part in the Russian revolution but then fallen out with Stalin & Lenin and was eventually assassinated by Stalin (I first learned this, I confess...
