As I put on another thread Bolton v Huddersfiels 11,000 Birmingham v Burton 7,000....so not too shabby considering what we have been through.

For those moaning beforehand about tickets bought, our gate was just over 14,000. Bolton v Huddersfield just over 11,000 and Birmingham v Burton just over 7,000 All things considered not too bad.

The point is a player won't necessarily develop at the same rate staying, just because they have developed at another club after we have sold them. What has developed Maddison into the player he is at the moment is playing at Coventry, Norwich and Aberdeen.
