Probably, but then that is where the club has to ask how do we keep some of these extra fans. Perhaps they need to analyse the data base and target the extra take up with a few incentives over the next few games. It might not mean anything extra. Just publicise, are you aware of our match day...

    Stoke roll call

For those moaning beforehand about tickets bought, our gate was just over 14,000. Bolton v Huddersfield just over 11,000 and Birmingham v Burton just over 7,000 All things considered not too bad.

There were posts like this when we were playing in Northampton. Don't think it changed anybody's minds though....fans gloating....doesn't unit a fan base. Results like today and over Christmas is the way to get fans interested again.

So Proud To Be A Coventry Fan Tonight

How many League 2 teams have beaten Premier teams? How often did old Division 4 teams beat the old 1st Division teams? Today's victory is an historic victory in the context of the club's history however you look at it.

So Proud To Be A Coventry Fan Tonight

Great win and a record for Coventry I believe: First time we have beaten a team 3 leagues higher than us. Nice to be the Giant Killers for a change.

    Thomas unlikely to return?

Yes but going out on loan isn't he, probably Sunderland so don't want him cup tied (just in case).

    Thomas unlikely to return?

He knew the risks when he signed, he was no where near Leicester's first team.

James Maddison sell on clause? Bid from WEST HAM

The point is a player won't necessarily develop at the same rate staying, just because they have developed at another club after we have sold them. What has developed Maddison into the player he is at the moment is playing at Coventry, Norwich and Aberdeen.

    Tom Bayliss

People are bringing up the profit stuff because its the reality. Coventry have limited revenue streams and owners who are reluctant to invest, so budgets are important. Young players being sold is inevitable, but hopefully we can start getting a couple of seasons out of them first. It's the...
