    Our Recent Form

I think this season will be like last season, 44 / 45 points enough to stay up, especially with Derby needing 34/35 points from 22 games to reach that. That means 11 points will see us safe, from 23 games.

    Robins

I'm confident we will see at least one new face this January, irrespective of comments coming out of the club about lack of finances. The question is then, will it make a difference.

    Our Recent Form

In the last 12 games, since winning at Hull we have only won 2, as we know. But we have dropped 16 points in that run, for the want of one goal. In other words we have had 4 defeats, all by one goal, and 6 draws. The only real difference in most of those games, is Gyo has stopped scoring...

I assume they would have already used that ploy to get the numbers down if they could. It could still happen today or tomorrow, but that would be easy to verify whether it is true.

The covid tests are PCR, and are confirmed independently as far as I'm aware. Surely if Millwall were thinking in terms of something devious, they would already have got the numbers below the 14 threshold before now.

I'm not going to get into an argument over a word I used which is confirmed as accepted usage by several widely accepted sources. I'm more interested in whether we play tomorrow. https://www.thefreedictionary.com/decimate

I assume this to be true as it is official Millwall correspondence. The EFL have set a precedent now and in theory will have to apply that consistently. It will be interesting to see how much that changes the amount of games postponed at the weekend and beyond.

Teams with even 1 or 2 key players missing will always try to get the game called off. The EFL will need to be rigorous with the rules, even though it looks like they haven't been so far, otherwise the season will be decimated.

Other teams currently in the top 6, and among the favourites for promotion. Bournemouth have won 3 of their last 10 West Brom have won 3 of their last 10 Over the last 6 games Bournemouth have won 1 and lost 2. Before last night hadn't won in 6 games Fulham have won 1 and lost 1 (same as us)...

    Championship 21/22

Middlesborough and Huddersfield both have 2 difficult away games coming up. Middlesborough play Blackpool and Sheff U, Huddersfield play Forest and Blackburn. A good opportunity for us to get back in the top 6 with games in hand providing the games go ahead.
