    Jodi Jones impact

I've just watched the highlights - he's better than I remembered to be fair!!

    Jodi Jones impact

Maybe, but a real shame that someone who loves his job has had such an awful setback. If he gets back to where he was, he'll be a real asset for us.

Real belief in this squad ...

I didn't mind Callum Reilly (liked a tackle, and played in a poor team) !

Might have liked your post, but as you've acquired the magic 1987, I think you should ask Nick to freeze your 'like' count!

    Stuart Beavon

Watched extended highlights of Wrexham v Ebbsfleet (time on my hands!) and Beavon looked really sharp - involved in a lot of good link up play and good goal.

Real belief in this squad ...

If the fans and team stick together it can be a powerful combination. I have a slight concern (based on nothing but gut feeling) that we may never see JJ as he was before (and I really hope I am wrong), so I am pleased that we have the likes of Allissani in the wings, whilst JJ hopefully...

Not a problem if he is not here, as long as he is there.

Was just thinking the same re; 3 wins on the bounce. We rarely put a big run together last year, despite promotion. We obviously have an inbuilt capacity to bounce back after defeats (that's an optimistic version of being inconsistent!)

Match Thread Coventry City vs Barnsley Match Thread - Saturday 15th Sep

Bookies offering 100/1 City for the league, but I am surprised they are going 9/4 Sunderland when Burton (100/1) ripped them to bits on Saturday. I think they have seriously underestimated Burton, who I predict will be a real force on their own pitch, and if they pick up away from home are a...

Yep - played alongside Gordon Strapon and Noel Wheelon

    Spring in your step

Is that because you are in the pub longer and the milkman gets extra time!

    Stuart Beavon

Attendance at home to Ebbsfleet 4,718. That's impressive (although bulked up by the 92 from Ebbsfleet!) Also Maguire-Drew on the bench for Wrexham!

Shipley finds great space on the pitch, but it just didn't happen for him today. A bit like when we suffer when Doyle is missing, we seem to function better as a team when Shipley is playing (whether he has a good game or not!)

You could see Barnsley were decent, so not sure why their fans are saying they were so bad -frustration, I guess - it just didn't happen for them today. They will be up there. Really hope we can get Kelly and Ogogo fit to support Doyle through the season. MR was really coy when Geoff Foster...

Haha. Although they are named after dogs, not birds!
