    England V Denmark

His whole England managerial career has flattered him. Living off a semi final in a World Cup where we only managed to win against one half decent team in the whole tournament.

This is shit from England. Maguire was lucky to stay on after the first one, not a surprise he went for another one pretty quickly afterwards. Denmarks Hummel kit is way better than another piss poor effort from Nike as well.

    Fresh Ricoh talks

When I had a quick look on the Wasps forum to see what they were making of it one chap was actually suggesting that the Henley residents should pay for replacement facilities which could be located at a school in Stratford!

    Wasps downward spiral...

Wonder if Wasps fans are having second thoughts about when they were pushing for Sale to forfeit their game due to a covid outbreak in their squad. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/54542965

    Project Big Picture...

Exactly. They just saw an opportunity with EFL clubs struggling to force it through. They won't just give up. Parry has to go now you'd think.

I know its not national but the sad thing is we all know if it was Fisher proposing this it would be all over CWR and the Telegraph.

    Fresh Ricoh talks

Think a couple of them formed a property development company when they purchased the land next to Higgs. That seemed to quietly be disposed off around the time Saracens were in the shit for getting round the salary cap by setting up dodgy property development companies. Just another one of those...

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

Agree with everything in that post but especially this. Problem at the moment is they want to prioritise the economy without telling people they're happy to sacrifice them. So we're stuck in this middle ground where we have one of the highest death rates and one of the biggest economic impacts.

That's exactly it, all about the money. There are students who have been asking for their timetables prior to returning and being told they weren't ready, when they went back they were then told the course would be entirely online. But they were also told that if they left their accommodation...

Save our standards - MPs reject amendment

Seen farmers already saying they will have no choice but to lower welfare standards. If they don't they won't be able to compete on cost.

    6 championship clubs need bailout

There's no reason for them to exist. Every contract should have a clause about wage reductions in the event of relegation.

    6 championship clubs need bailout

Hearing the likes of Peterborough and FGR saying they are in favour of the plan reading between the lines the implication is they will never be sustainable Championship clubs. As we're seeing the gap between L1 and the Championship is huge. If there is a large group of clubs who feel similar...

    Fresh Ricoh talks

The chap that runs the Henley action group posted it. The housing thing is interesting as its long been put forward by those campaigning that part of the site would be sold for housing to pay for the other work. Of course that is being denied as one of the reasons being given that it should be...

There's a lot of competition but this is one if the dumbest things they've done. Introduce a new tier system then ping an alert to anyone who has the app installed telling them their risk has changed and, at best, its now minimum. Already had my Mum on the phone in a panic as I put the app on...

What a surprise. Wonder how much money has been blown on this. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/oct/13/operation-moonshot-doubts-over-uk-covid-saliva-tests-plan-after-trial-scaled-back Again this is something where we seem to be trying to reinvent the wheel. There's tests already available...

Can't find the link now but I saw some tweets from an Epidemiologist, think from the University of Southampton, after Van Tam said kids under 16 weren't impacting transmission. She was saying that the data he was basing this on actually shows that primary school kids show limited transmission...

What they're doing is exactly what members of Sage were saying here in interviews over the summer. If you want to open schools something else will need to close to compensate. Of course that was ignored and we tried to open everything up and came up against another 'nobody could have predicted...
