    Cringe worthy

Don't see anything wrong with it myself. Probably not what I would have gone for but its no worse than what you see at pretty much every ground.

One thing we can't accuse Robins of this season is refusing to change the team.

A lot of the scientists who are on official SAGE have been saying similar. Going back to the summer there was a constant stream of SAGE experts appearing in the media saying if we were going to open schools closures would be needed elsewhere. They've also recommended a national lockdown and said...

    Oh Jeremy Corbyn

There's a YouGov poll on if Starmer was right to suspend Corbyn. The headline figure is 58% say yes. However if you drill down into the split by party affiliation its 80% among Conservative voters and drops to 41% among Labour voters. The key will of course be can he convert Conservative voters...

    Sky History Carpentry Show Blunder

Show has been binned. What I don't get is if this chap is happy to get facial nazi tattoos why is he now continuing to deny he is far right. Surely if you want to keep it secret you don't tattoo it on your face?

Surely that will hit them when it comes time to refinance. How many supporters put money in based on claims they would be the biggest and richest club in Europe? Things are very different now even if you ignore the impact of covid. If they manage to refinance in a world still reeling from the...

tbh it needs someone more knowledgeable on bonds to look but they have a Interest Service Reserve Account at the moment which from what I can make out ensures they have enough money to pay the interest, that account can't be withdrawn from by Wasps. They want to change that to allow the Issuer...

Haven't you answered your own question there. If you have no ability to carry out the practical work in the current setup what difference does it make if it moves online. Friend of mine's daughter lives in the states and they were told in the summer high school students won't be back until next...

Been reading through the report, which is pretty heavy going tbh. Can someone clarify how Starmer suspending Corbyn for saying: is consistent with the findings in the EHRC report?

They're being asked to agree to a lot more than the last time they breached the bond covenants aren't they. Think this time round they're signing away their own rights with nothing in return as opposed to a change in what types of income are allowed which was the case last time (allowing the...

Its so frustrating seeing things like this. We simply shouldn't be seeing report after report showing things the government chose to ignore the science on coming back to bite us.

We just seem to be adding more regions into various tiers of restrictions while adding a tier 1 plus to avoid admitting only days after it was announced the tier system is screwed. Nobody seems to go down a tier and places like Birmingham are saying moving up to tier 1 at some point in the...

Don't two of those things present the same issue when teaching in schools? Just highlights the need for a property implemented nationwide system really rather than expecting schools to sort themselves out which ends up with them holding lessons via something like Zoom.

    Oh Jeremy Corbyn

Only had a quick skim of the report, need more time to read it as there's 100 pages of it, but from what I've read so far Corbyn's statement seems pretty much in line with what the report says. Will be interesting to see if Starmer revisits the leaked internal report and takes action given the...

Makes no sense. The only difference is that if you don't pay your rent your landlord loses out, whereas if you don't pay your mortgage the bank doesn't really lose out as they take your house off you.
