    Bury gone

Yes and fans then stop attending and wreck the business model. Fans are one of the most unstable assets in a football club. When you are in League 1 that unstable asset is about all you have; because the media and sponsorship revenue streams will be minimal.

    Bury gone

No. Today is deadline but with talks on going extensions will be given. If EFL pull carpet I think they still give 14 days notice of final expulsion from league.

    Bury gone

I have more sympathy with Bury to be honest. Bolton relegated around 2012 with 90m worth of parachutr payments. A benefactor wrote off 171 million worth of debt and put in a further 15 m to go forward with. He pumped in a further 5 m about a year ago before his death. Yet Bolton still seem to...

To be honest fans have a responsibility too. They fuel a lot of over spend too with their unrealistic demands. They applaud reckless spending when the team is winning then moan when it goes tits up. Fans follow a week to week kneejerk business plan.

I am glad we are giving some a rest and a chance to others in the squad. Watford despite their start are a good side and a very tough test. A real step up for our lads so stick with them.

Match Thread Watford vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Tuesday 27th Aug

It will be interesting tonight. Not getting carried away with this is the best time to play them as our fans got that call totally wrong with Bolton. I just hope we are brave and continue with the football we have played so far. Not perfect but we have got the results, even Bolton I class as a...

Nice try. I still think once fit I think he will be ahead of Bakayoko. Also I am not getting carried away with Kastaneers wonder debut goal. I want to see him over a few games as his second appearance was a bit of a calamity.

    The October rumour

I think that will turn people against us preventing people entering a stadium. But I can see value in protest outside the stadium stating Coventry should be allowed to play in Coventry.

One interesting point is CVC also own Pro14, so may look to merg this with the Prem shedding South African and Italian teams. Chances are there would only be slots for the top four or five English teams. The Prem would still be the first tier for English rugby.

Jamie allen out for 2 more weeks

No rush with the way we are playing. Plus the arrival of O'Hare. Allen will need a few weeks training and some U23 games to get upto speed.

    What do people actually want?

Whatever the fans do SISU still run the club how they want. I dont want to be part of supporting Wasps in any way. Ideally a new stadium in Coventry Northampton was a different situation. St Andrews is a good football Stadium the best option we have. Robins and the players are working hard...

    Homophobic chanting

It happens but it doesnt mean it is acceptable. Also it is only a small minority that do it ...little twats that give football a bad reputation and spoil a day out for many on various levels.

    Allassani

I suspect this is the start of moving him out of the club. However it might be one last chance at rebooting his confidence, going back to his previous club where he did well and Gavin Rose has a reputation for preparing players for League football.

Is this the nail in the coffin?

No it wont as any wrong doing would have occured under EU rules.

    Hiwula’s movement (or lack off)

He certainly did and why he wasnt substituted. He had a very good game. First half involved in some lovely attacking moves. Second half rolled his sleeves up and ran the hard dirty yards.

    Hiwula’s movement (or lack off)

Hiwula does what he does and does it well. We are blessed to have a player who likes it into feet in tight situations. The big problem is we dont get him on tbe ball enough. Gillingham and Southend were doubling up on him. They didnt on Jobello. But two men watching Hiwula should create...
