I wholly supported the appointment of Thorn. I also once bought a car that I thought would be good but it wasn't.

The problem is that a good number enjoy the trappings of their fame, pissing money up the wall, passing around young girls like meat etc but aren't prepared to deal with the downsides.

the public sector is quite a broad range of careers. Feel sorry for those in the NHS that have to work in extremely physically and mentally challenging jobs until they are 68. Doesn't fill you full of confidence as a future patient!

Just a question. Why did Thorn take the job? Presumably because he thought he could make a difference? Well he hasn't so surely he should consider his future. And please no "SISU lied to him" crap. If he believed anything they said he was an idiot

SISU have won in my eyes. There is no fight left in the fans. They are happy with a manager with an apalling record because they have somehow decided based on a end of season cameo that the only reason he is underperforming is lack of funds. People already talk of a successful league 1 campaign...

I would say that we would have a better chance of beating a Cardiff side who were fairly off colour than Wigan beating the sides you mention. My point is we need to be brave. More often or not we will struggle away so a point at home isn't much good in our current situation

you may well be right that we are fucked mate so my argument is lets not lay down and take it but try anything to avoid it, nothing to lose. If that means giving someone a shot even for the rest of the season then why not? AT isn't doing it, maybe nobody else can, but if we don't try we will...

but my problem is that some people in one breath say " We played well, we were robbed by referee, bad luck, tea lady" but then in the next breath "Thorn has nothing to work with"
