Sorry to start another Thorn thread ....

you're pissing in the wind my friend. Thorn is the most popular manager I can remember (why I don't know). A lot of it is down to SISU hatred. Some of it is down to wanting stability (albeit in league 1) Things have changed in the clubs support over the last 10 years, no militancy...

Why we should get behind Thorn

What is it with sensitive city fans? How is having an opinion on a manager "hounding"

Why we should get behind Thorn

Heres a thought, as we have accepted relegation because the players have had their legs chopped off and the manager had his brain taken out, therefore leaving the rest of the season completely futile, why not just fire anybody we can (except Thorn obviously given his record so far). Play a few...

Why we should get behind Thorn

We have always sold our best players though. And King and Westwood were luxuries that no Coventry manager should expect to have.

I don't hold out much hope but I guess if we keep saying it......

Why we should get behind Thorn

shit owners, shit managers, shit players roll up roll up and come to Coventry its the easiest job in football. dazzle the locals with your awful win ratios! impress them with your lower league signings fool them once more with empty promises test their counting skills with your...

Why we should get behind Thorn

I don't see the point of backing Thorn. I thought he had an impossible task? If so whats the point of backing him or not backing him, makes no odds. In fact whats the point of having a manger at all. As Torchy says its our fault for our continued witch hunt against inepitude. Lets keep the...

    Strikes Good or Bad?

(Just getting my tin opener to open this can of worms) Do you know what gets me. The biggest problem these days it that people think they are equally deserving of things. Possessions, income etc. The whole reason that the country is in massive personal debt is that people think they have a god...

    Thorn out - now!!

I've just thought of another conundram. What if you are a Thorn in / SISU out type of guy. So a new owner comes in, invests money and sacks Thorn. :D Guess you take the fact that SISU have fooked off as being good enough

    Strikes Good or Bad?

I agree that the country should be run like a private sector business. So how about we stop paying people for doing nothing. That would save a fortune.

    Thorn out - now!!

Well to be quite honest I'm not sure I want to keep shelling out on following an operation that from owners through to fans has given up. Seems a bit daft to me

Our squad (& fans who harp on about no other manager being able to do better...)

You've got SISU on the brain NLHWC :) Point I was trying to make was that people keep going on about King and Westwood. Players like that will never stay here. We only had King because of his past and Westwood was clearly destined for bigger and better things. This argument will run on but I...

Our squad (& fans who harp on about no other manager being able to do better...)

What I can't stand is how people talk about AT losing good players as if its the first time this has ever happened. In the whole time I have followed them we have sold our best players and replaced them with inferior quality. We had no right to luxuries like Westwood and King. Any manager here...

    Strikes Good or Bad?

An x ray guy on £35k would contribute £70k over their career and it would provide a pension pot of £18k per year which would cost £500k in the private sector. . With annuity rates like that I'd be transferring out of that private pension scheme sharpish

    Strikes Good or Bad?

Yes because thats what I was advocating clearly. The people to blame in this country are the great swathes of uneducated lazy workshy plebs who constantly drain the resources of the country. Bet they don't have to wait until 68 to claim their benefits...cunts
