Gary Hoffman’s long-distance attempt to meet Coventry City’s chief Tim Fisher

I saw this as just trying to be an intermediary between SISU and ACL, something a lot of people have been asking for. Maybe save a little face on both sides if it had worked?

Apparently they were armed.......with squash racquets.. ;)

    Question for PWKH

But didn't Fisher state in the forums that the profit made wasn't high enough? They only make 20% whereas he would want 40%. So, it's the profit, not the revenue that's important, isn't it? or is it?...... or was that just bluster? Wait, no, he doesn't bluster does he? :D

a question for those not intending to go to northampton..

6 or 7 CCFC supporting mates I have spoken to have said it's the end for them until SISU are gone. New ground or no new ground. Must admit, that's my view at the moment too.

    here comes fisher

Maybe the NT Chairman isn't stupid either, and made sure there isn't a get-out clause... or if there is, there is a premium to be paid for it... more debt racking up.

    here comes fisher

It's all too late for that now. Fisher said breaking the agreement with NT would be very expensive, he has all the admin costs piled up, other costs for the JR. The deal he agreed with ACL before reneging is now a bargain compared to all the additional debt he has racked up, and will rack up...

    Talksport phone in

Whether you agree with him or not, he always has sound reasoning for his views, and can argue his point well. He must do his research.

    my way

Is that true? I have no idea. I guess the first home match will be a clue, although whatever the "support" is at that game, you can bet your mortgage that both "sides" on here will be claiming it as a victory.... ;)

    Knowl[GMK] says.....

But knowl knows the only way a deal would be acceptable to SISU is if it's better than the last offer, so it's only ACL he wants to concede anything by this reckoning.

    Knowl[GMK] says.....

I think he was working on the assumption that if it was BS, it won't be long before someone comes up with "proof" to show it was BS. but, if they can't, they just attack the poster in some way. :p

    Knowl[GMK] says.....

Perhaps knowl's belief might be better placed if he wanted Fisher to "mediate" with ARVO to lower their management charges. Now that would be novel and could solve the whole issue quickly.

    PH4 to buy Ricoh

Might also put some serious money behind any future "appeals" that ACL might be planning.... ??

    No hope now

Snide reply to a simple message that he's had the stuffing knocked out of him. I'm wondering how common this will be, as before Friday, I was in 2 minds what I would do going forward. I expected the administrators decision, so was not surprised in the slightest, and thought I would maybe still...

    Fisher On CWR Now

All these forums, meetings, discussions with solicitors, administrators, Estate agents etc If Tim had spent just some of this time "negotiating" with ARVO to reduce their "management" fees, the Ricoh costs would not be an issue. :)

    The Forums

Whoever wins this bid, you can be sure it will be contested, and therefore we could be in admin for quite some time. In the meantime, it enables the administrator (or someone) to make plans for the new season knowing there is a ground to play in. Or is that too simple?

Sisu back in full control and us out of admin by Tuesday?

Questioning is fine, but it won't change anything. Except you can drag up years old threads to try and prove "you were right" or "they were wrong" :p Might just as well "question" every potential buyer and say it will be a disaster, because eventually, it probably will be......
