Do you want to discuss boring politics?

After the vote last night it seems we're now the only G7 country not to have backed Bidens plans to curb tax avoidance by large companies. The vote wasn't even to fully back it, just to have a review in the next six months to establish how it would affect the taxpayer.

    What's your political compass?

I’ve given it serious consideration in the past but it’s just a wasted vote really so what’s the point.

    Grealish reaction

He's spot on here. Annoys me how often you hear 'if he'd gone down it would have been a penalty'. Also this thing where any contact is a penalty, that's not what the rules for a foul are its supposed to be careless, reckless or using excessive force.

    What's your political compass?

This is what they have on the site from the various parties policies at the last election in 2019.

    Well Done Leicester

I think a Leicester team that potentially loses Maddison and has those three approaching retirement, although to be fair Schmeichel probably has a few years left, looks a very different prospect to the one they have now. Its not an easy task to stay at a level where you're pushing for trophies...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

In practice how will that work? The farming industry is saying that tariff free access both ways will in reality be of benefit to overseas farmers importing rather than our domestic industry exporting. They are saying imports coming into the country will be at a lower price than is achievable...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

But if the argument is that farmers here won't be able to compete on price with Asia Pacific farmers in our own domestic market how are we going to get it on sale over there at a viable price? Or is the suggestion that they will be happy to pay a premium because its labelled British?

Weird though, why hound one of your best players out of the club. Grealish has got up to all sorts during covid but nobody says a word and Villa fans aren't blaming everything that goes wrong on him.

    Well Done Leicester

He didn't have a bad game I not sure I agree he was hooked off. More likely he was only given 60 minutes as they're still easing him back in. He's only played one full game since injury hasn't he? Anyway if he's that much of a problem for them happy to have him back on loan next season :)

If anyone thinks a bottle of Yellow Tail will be 20p cheaper in Tesco because of this they are an idiot. What's the thinking behind beef and lamb exports soaring? If its going to be comparatively too expensive to sell in the UK how is it going to be viable in Asia Pacific?

    Matty James

This tends to change with what argument people are having. If anyone says SISU have done well to bring the club near to self sufficiency when we were losing millions a year its dismissed as incorrect but if anyone suggests SISU are keeping the club going by covering losses that's also dismissed...

    The Coventry Arena

Think they're working round their branches doing a refurb and rebrand to CBS. Sure I read somewhere it was going to take 5 years to do them all.

    World Cup every two years?

Who comes up with these ideas? The most common complaint you here these days is that the competition has grown to much. Weeks of group games where you only need to win one game to go through, too many minor teams etc. So to combat that those in charge decide we need it to happen more often.

    Eurovision 2021

That would be a hell of a drop. In 2019, the last time it was staged, it got an overnight rating of 7.7 million!
