Teams you have an irrational liking for

Always had a soft spot for Man City (not when they play us) going back to Colin Bell, Glyn Pardoe and their red and black strips away kit. Oldham because I lived in Chadderton for a bit and could see the floodlights. Also Dundee United in Scotland from the Jim McLean days.

    Declan Drysdale

Good opportunity for him. But at that stage where he needs to kick on now.

    4th Round draw

You are the one who keeps using the term 'scared'. I have said they are oponents that are better avoided - I have already stated several reasons why.

    Dabo

His defending was naive. He made it easy for his opponent. Da Costa has played better and got far more stick. When he forges forward his crossing is very hit and miss. Defending he is not a natural and switches off. At this level he is average. Kane is a far better player.

    4th Round draw

Just like Newcastle. Just like us at Sutton - and I think we were pretty professional that day, but still lost. Your view is over simplistic. The cup is a game condensed into 90 mins. The better side normally wins but not always.

    4th Round draw

It always has been. The magic is in non league and lower leagues having their Cup Final in the earlier rounds. Like Boreham Wood, Kidderminster and Mansfield yesterday. I dont support Hereford or Newcastle but I can still remeber the goal that knocked Newcastle out in the early 70's. Who...

    4th Round draw

Not frightened would just rather not play them. You get no kudos for beating them, it brings in little money and potentially a banana skin leading to embarrassment. We have lost plenty of cup games to teams with a lower league status than ours over the years.

    4th Round draw

I would rather go out to Southampton away than Boreham Wood or Kidderminster away or even worse at home. Boreham Wood havent conceded a goal yet in the competition and are well organised - and we hardly score loads? That tie was definately one to avoid.

Not a draw on the gate. Plus I have seen too many embarrassing cup performances against lower division teams. Another potential giant killing against Cov - no thanks. I would rather have someone like Birmingham. Followed up by Man City. 😁

    The future of the club

The most important thing is to have a club to support. The second thing is to prepare the club for the future within our financial needs. The Third thing is to avoid relegation and try to play entertaining football. Most of those boxes have been ticked and we are now establishing ourselves as...

You would need a gate of around 11,700 to make the same money?

    January Transfer Window

Watched Swindon v Man City last night. Man City a different class. But Kaine Kessler Hayden looked pick of the bunch for Swindon. On loan from Aston Villa. Might be an option in January or if not next season. Swindon like to try and play from back so could suit our style?

Good to see Eccles and Jones coming on. Good shift from Shipley too, might have scored if it wasnt for the deflection.

It would be nice if we can kick on and get a second into a 2-0 lead. Something we have struggled to do this season.
