    Jamie Allen

From anyone else Otis, I would have taken this with a pinch of salt (pun intended) but even now I'm still not sure!

Match Thread Oxford United vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 31st Aug

Hope you are right. My first away game this season (been away on jollies). I do think Oxford will be one of the trickier away sides we face. though. I think their attack is better than their defence.

    Tennai Watson - Confirmed

Be a bit surprised if the 2 yellows in one match (which he got sent off for) are also included in a cumulative figure towards suspension (otherwise that's a double punishment)?

Sky Blue youth superstars who never made it...

Red card for that alone ! Saw him and Drinkell score against David seaman away at QPR in the cup (midweek?) Would have got about 500/1 for those two scoring in the same game !

    Junior Brown to Scunthorpe

Obviously would depend on overall injury situation, but we have one or two options there. Allen to return, Pask can play defensive midfield? (IIRC) Burroughs, Eccles (I know some are raw - but for one-offs) MR may even play Max central midfield as an experiment!!

    Junior Brown to Scunthorpe

An obvious double benefit : one less disaffected individual about the camp, plus will help the balance sheet/cash flow position of the club.

    Junior Brown to Scunthorpe

Is that a definite? Also, I've said it before, I think Shippers can cover there if we are short.

    Highfield Road Best Memories ?

Sunderland singing 'The Blaydon races?' Thought that was Newcastle's?

    Highfield Road Best Memories ?

Best game I remember v Norwich 5-4 (Boxing Day). Odd memories include a snowball fight between City and Everton fans on the old Spion Kop, when (looking from the West End) the Everton fans were in a pen to the right of the Spion Kop. Really funny watching from the West End. Remember an ordinary...

    Spoilt

Don't think many want us to stay. My main plus point is that it suits our passing style of play. I hated watching the ball bobbling across the back 4 on The Ricoh pitch. If/when we get back, I really hope we get that addressed. If we could get promoted this year, maybe we would have more...

Match Thread Oxford United vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 31st Aug

I think he will give you more consistent performances than Westbrooke at the moment, and his work rate alongside Kelly allows more scope/cover for O'Hare's attacking tendencies. My judgement is slightly coloured by having seen more of Jordan's performances than Zain's.

    Another ticket deal

Sensible move from the club. Well done.

Can Nick please 2 foot Adge (on line, not in reality) and then can Adge produce one of his red cards, and send Nick off. The argument can then end in an honourable draw!
