Only a few weeks ago a lot on here didn't think we should retain Rickets, those that did ( me inc ) thought he'd be good to have in the dressing room and decent back-up When needed. But now we're going to kickoff the season with him as our main CB, says it all really.

You always imply that people have unrealistic expectations around recruitment and wages, when I don't think they do, people would just be happy for the club To be in a position to compete.

It's not rushing in and getting crap, it's the close season, time for players to take a rest, but More importantly the time to recruit, work on new systems, formations and generally prepare for the START of the season. For a professional football club to be so unprepared is unbelievable, and...
