    Wembley in the EFL

I don’t wish to sound all ‘considerably richer than yow’ — but would £20 a ticket really put that many off a trip to Wembley? I mean it’s not like it (usually) happens more than once every 20 years or so, and £20 isn’t that much compared to the cost of travel, food, possibly beer and hotel. it...

Match Thread Coventry City vs. Ipswich Town Match Thread - Sunday 1st Dec

If you ever do find the stamina to trawl through the thread you will find I have been banging the same drum, so to speak. Match Thread Coventry City vs. Ipswich Town Match Thread - Sunday 1st Dec

It’s not that I find the figure hard to believe, it was looking at the fans in the ground. If there were 600 Ipswich fans then there seemed like more than 2k cov fans. It didn’t feel that much emptier than normal.

I seriously cannot believe there are 3k fewer fans than ‘normal’. 2k, really? 1.5k cov fans? Unbelievable.

    More Wasps BS?

It would be interesting to know what proportion of their fans travel from ‘down south’ compared to local.

    Ha, good point.

    More Wasps BS?

I don’t because the legacy stuff has largely already been planned afaik. Birchfield Harriers are going to be located there (along with various other tenants) and it will become a multi-use community asset. Edit: won’t let me link the article but decipher this (remove the spaces) if interested...
