The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

I wanted to go to bed, but your last comment was even more uninformed than usual. I missed the pubs in Chapelfields, so I made my own, filled it with pictures of Coventry and CCFC things, and now if I want to feel at home I go into my pub .... which I live above..so no Problem getting home...

Good night. It must be just after pub closing there.

Probably at some time, but MPs and journalists are claiming support and polls are measuring an increase in support for a second referendum.

More in touch than you. I am not more in touch than many on here, just more in touch than you. I think you are insulting others on this thread if you say it’s all about me. Maybe you should not only watch or read the news, but also read the thread. It may help.

If they had put any thought into it, they would have seen the problems with a land border in Ireland, or the possibility of 27 countries acting in their common interests. They obviously didn’t.

Blair is not on the EU gravy train. UKIP is until the last minute.

In what way obsessed? Haven’t you bothered to look at the news after I pointed out your lack of information on current affairs?

There is more at stake here and there are foreign players hoping for the spoils. An election can be reversed after a short time. If it turns out that enough people decide that enough is enough and there appears to be public support for a vote on what we now know are the options, not just a vague...

Medication worn off? Back to insults again. No, there won’t be a referendum in a week or so, but May will lose an important vote which will increase the pressure for a second referendum.

Yes. You’re right there. That’s what the EU said from the word go. It was BoJo who was on about having a cake and eating it and Davis saying he would be off to Germany to make a deal over car sales. Lying scum.

    11. December?

That has been suggested, by others. It is also possible according to May. The only way I see that happening is: May loses her Brexit vote, resigns and/ or then loses a vote of confidence, Labour cannot force a GE, and it is given back to the people. The people say remain is the best option (...

There aren’t any illegal EU immigrants under FOM. Do you mean ones that are not self sufficient after 90 days? You have quoted illegal immigrants in your posts or criminal refugees not being kicked out of Germany or Italy to a war zone or North Africa. Your original comment was that FOM is not...

Brexit is in black and white. Over 500 pages. It will be voted on on 11. December. After that no deal or no Brexit. Enjoy your Brexit..... while it lasts...

Which, again, is why I cannot understand the UK resistance to ID cards. Then in such cases you can identity the illegal immigrants.

Some of what you say is correct. I actually agree on things like the tax dodgers, the reluctance to deal with this. Zero hours contracts and the gig economy avoid things like paid holidays. They are much stricter on these things here. Public services are facing increasing strain especially the...

Utter drivel? Pointed out what others have pointed out. But you don’t like it, so it’s utter drivel. Fact is that a second referendum is becoming more likely. People are not happy with what Brexit has turned out to be. Some call it what it is.., a stupid decision, others blame May. Whatever...

Which country is poorer now than before the EU? How many live in abject poverty in the UK according to the UN study of the UK? We are not in the Euro and yet have the biggest gap between rich and poor. How does that fit in with your theory?
