Would that be the case if your child couldn’t attend due to them not being open though? I know you have to pay regardless of attendance if it is just your child not there, but different if they’re closed, surely. Doubt they can legally charge you for a service they aren’t even providing.

There has been a recommendation to use contactless payments when possible and there have been studies that show money is a good source of many different pathogens. If you search for “money germs” or suchlike there’s lots of results.

I think in Italy they are only allowed to open bars / restaurants if they can guarantee a meter gap between people? Families sitting at different tables to eat etc.

I went to the supermarket here yesterday (massive sainsburys) and there were quite a few gaps on the shelves, definitely less stock than normal (still had bog roll though!). Given the rumours of impending lockdown I suspect this morning will be rather busy in the food shops.
