Good point NW - hadn't even thought about that. The additional costs for making a space 'safe/compliant' will make such events even less attractive to a business/organisation. Much as I want Wasps to implode, it is sad for these businesses, event venues (like NEC etc) that they are being so...
Wasps forum thinking £££s will roll in from 1st October when events (business, not concerts etc) can start. Trouble is, businesses will be cutting back expenditure in this area due to financial impact of Cov-id. Think they are likely in for an elongated shock.
Provided they can open up more stands (extra cost) they should be able to accommodate us. We can even do the Mexican wave if we have more stands open! I;ll get a ST from Day 1 (apologies, as I've said it before!) but will probably wait for a game or two to pass, so that the rest of you can be...
With our budget you can't be expecting more than 2 additional players in - and we had a really good side last year. Obviously lost Walsh, but think we've already improved the squad overall.
Was just having a look - seem to be talking about earning loyalty points towards when they move to a new ground too etc. Fair play to them, adults forking out £400 to probably not attend a game for ?? amount of games (especially if it's reduced capacity at first, as seems likely) I will do the...
Slightly confused about what is happening re: season tickets at clubs in general.
I know CCFC have talked about some sort of package, as didn't want fans buying season tickets, due to refund issues with debit/credit cards if games called off.
....but, Luton Town (possibly others) have sold...
I confess to having an affinity with NUFC, as my brother and his family are all up there. Ashley has milked the club for years, taking millions out. Their fans are incredibly loyal, their main bone of contention being the lack of ever having any ambition at winning / challenging. When CCFC were...
I just want our own ground again. Yes, SISU might still own it and charge us rent . Don't care (within reason) - just want a permanent home, Preferably at Warwick Uni, but The Ricoh is just fine, too, Anywhere (in the area!) as long as it is ours.
Haha. I remember being at Charles de Gaulle airport a few years ago and seeing all these Japanese people in masks and thinking - wtf. Presumably it was the SARS virus being about. The world really has changed and until a successful vaccine is found, it'll be the norm. My wife is really nervous...
I understand what you are saying - don't think anybody would disagree about them having some culpability. Are you going, when we are allowed back? Not intended as an antagonistic question.
