Can we all remember that it’s a preseason friendly and we’ve played one game in 5 months or whatever. The score means very little, Swindon look a good side (you can see why they put 8 past the Treacles) and seem a bit fitter. Also 4 of our best players are not on the pitch in Kelly, Godden...

True. Fingers crossed for Hamer though.

I have a little smile to myself whenever I see O’Hare. Really hope he has a good season this year, could be such an important player for us.

Baka’s not looking so fired up today. Someone tell him they banged his misses.

Allen just looks a bit rusty to me. Still lively, but his first touch has let him down a bit.

    Transfer Rumour Ben Sheaf

Fair enough, let’s hope he made it back then (if he’s going to sign for us, otherwise he can stay out there for a bit).

Yeah, I thought it would be an odd time to go abroad (for anyone but particularly someone in the middle of signing for a new team). Not sure where the rumour came from.

I’m not disagreeing with your general point, but I thought someone said he posted on insta or somewhere from London? Or did I imagine that?! (Quite possible)

Indeed. Think we’ll be dealing with the effects of this for many years to come in one way or another. Not least the impending global economic meltdown... I wonder what the football league pyramid will look like in 5 years too.

So i just rewatched the league 2 promotion season

Remember walking out after that Yeovil game convinced we were going to blow it and be stuck in that division for years. Always been an optimist!

Also sure I read something once about constant use of sanitiser potentially leading to resistant bacteria because a few of the ‘strongest’ (not my field either!) ones survive and replicate. When this is repeated millions of times it encourages a population of resistant bacteria in a similar way...

Sorry to hear about your family’s losses, and totally agree. Even if it only ‘might’ help, why not do it (unless you have a genuine reason of course).

Can you read? I’m not sure how to make this any more simple. The idea of wearing a mask is to help stop YOU from infecting OTHERS. It isn’t a guarantee of safety, it is one of many measures that added together help to reduce the spread of viruses and other pathogens. If we can reduce the spread...

Because you or I might have asymptomatic Covid 19 and by wearing a mask I am reducing the risk of giving it to YOU. Or your wife. I don’t consider taking responsibility for everyone’s health an imposition on my liberty, which is why I don’t drive at 80mph in a 20mph zone. If I choose to drive...
