Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

Wasps legends and former owners sound exactly the type of group that would want to move them back to London. The Women's team have already made the move back, their version of the former players association never moved to Cov in the first place, all their events were in London. Surely nobody...

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

From a business perspective what is being said about the NEC there is very true. The NEC Arena is also shutting shortly for an extended period to have the roof raised and a big capacity increase. Even just in terms of music events adding the hall to the Utility and Resorts World Arenas would...

And remember it's not just locking us out. There's businesses based there including the hotel and casino that would have to shut as well as exhibitions scheduled for next week. Of course we don't know what will happen Monday and if the council, or anyone else really, will be in a position to do...

Some of you have clearly never rented a house if you think landlords spring into action as soon as repairs are needed

We wouldn't need to insure the building, that's someone else's problem. We'd need single event insurance and realistically that's just a case of speaking to the provider and ensuring cover continues on the current terms on a match by match basis.

What on earth has happened to Sri Lanka today, have they completely forgotten how to bat.

What would actually need paying for on a match day that we don't already pay for? We already pay everyone on the CCFC side obviously, and we pay for stewards and policing. We supply ground staff, although there is also ground staff employed by ACL I'm sure we could manage without them. The f&b...

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

I think it very much depends on the circumstances. Being forced to play elsewhere accompanied by a statement saying they offered to pay costs over and above the rent to ensure games went ahead and are actively working to purchase the lease would be a very different situation to just having let...

That's a shift in position from Duggins isn't it, albeit a subtle one. Seems to have gone from doing everything we can to nothing to do with us speak to the administrator. Bit tricky given as far as anyone is aware ACL isn't yet in administration.

Fucking hell, is that the best they can come up with. How many of the present cabinet served under Johnson or Truss.

Complete guess on my part but I would imagine the first choice will be to flip the Blackburn, Wigan and QPR games to away games if at all possible.

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

Lets for a minute assume that when we signed that 10 year lease and announced the UoW stadium plan that the club was serious. Imagine that work started immediately, it wouldn't be open now so how would we be any better off? Its a complete red herring in this situation. We have a 10 year lease...

If, as is being suggested by some, there is no interest in ACL and it is to be liquidated the lease will revert to the council won't it? So unless they're planning to close the place permanently / knock it down then either they're going to continue to run it themselves or attempt to sell the...

As they aren't in admin shouldn't they be running as normal? Bit of a pisstake to turn round and say your event isn't going ahead unless you give us more money. Have they done the same to other events there this weekend, the casino, hotel etc?

A points deduction would be very harsh. This is completely out of our control. Sure there would come a point where the EFL are pushed too far but the WC break might come at a convenient time for us. Gives a few weeks to sort things out, even if its the worst case scenario of having to play games...

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

What are the options on Monday. Presumably a further NOI is out of the equation so are we looking at a simple choice between admin & ACL continuing to operating while a buyer is found or immediate liquidation? If its liquidation doesn't that then revert everything back to the council who would...

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

Hopefully its just a case of paying for stewards etc, costs that would normally be passed on to us, and not much more on top of that. We simply don't have the money, or the owners, to cover keep making extra payments to play games.

Interesting choice to use Gary Glitter as the soundtrack.

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

Sensible approach from the club in the circumstances. If something does happen and they hadn't looked into other options I'm sure there wouldn't be plenty of people on here ready to lay into them for not being prepared. Of course we all know the owners won't fund all this extra expenditure so...
