We've had days of people saying nobody would bid before liquidation as they'd have to sort out the debt and bondholders but now we're talking about multiple bids. So why are people bidding before it's all gone tits up and there's not a huge debt that needs dealing with?

The hall at the CBS can hold 7,000 max for gigs, Utilita Arena is 15,800, Resorts World Arena is being increased to 21,600 and the stadium is 40,000. For me that all fits together pretty well and means the NEC Group can offer promoters pretty much any size show they want, anything below that...

You'd think any bidder for the football club would want a professional in to run the exhibition side of it. Linking up with the NEC would make sense. Would you'd assume also be of interest to them as they get to run the part they want without having to pay for the stadium as well.

logically the better dressing room would either be shared so whoever is playing gets it or goes to the 'bigger' club who make more use of it. we should certainly be asking that question. I can't imagine other championship rugby clubs have huge dressing rooms so shouldn't be a problem for them.

Is anybody actually acting on behalf of the bondholders to enforce any of this? The trustee seems to have done fuck all up to now. Didn't the bond prospectus say something about the lease being security but others, ie the council, potentially having claim to it as well?
