    Our downfall

The main reason imo for our downfall has been neglect of the forward line, yes we have been unlucky with injuries to defenders but for some bizarre reason Mowbray failed to strengthen our forward line, it was obvious Armstrong would dry up, just can't get my head round how or why an experienced...

    Our Investment Potential

I think our only hope is if a group of local well heeled business men go for a buy out. There have been the odd rumour but nothing concrete, just can't see a Roman Abromavic just turning up on the sisu doorstep somehow

"Realistic" free transfers or signings only

I doubt we will lure anyone from Bristol Rovers their new owner is richer than the Man City bloke

    A foreign manager?

I would think Chris Anderson will have German connections... Uwe Rossler ?

Tell me why he should keep his job?

We don't need a goalkeeper, everyone fit and I include Johnson and Willis in that statement, play Chris Stokes at centre back, left sided, good in the air, good with the ball and make him club captain, was superb the times he played there. Rose will be ok centre right, the Bulgarian we have to...

    Steve Cotterill

All manager appointments are a gamble at any level. Apart from Mowbray here we have others who might fancy a bash at it, Mark Venus, Jamie Clapham for instance who might do the management roll a bit differently We also have senior players in their mid thirties who might fancy their chance. Or...

Tell me why he should keep his job?

Will be interesting to hear ChrisAndersons take on things when he next comments, still not sure on exactly what he is hired for is it really to get this club higher up the leagues ? We will see

    Sisu

Don't SISU have an ideal situation here now for a hedge fund company, got rid of the debt through administration farce, minimum input now getting near and often surpassing their break even figure of 11000, although they have raised this to 14k. Every 18 months or so cash in an asset (player)...

Tell me why he should keep his job?

I think he will leave on his own accord

    10,000 Fans

I think bearing in mind our shite form, playing bottom of the league, crap weather and dear old England on the telly 10000+ is a decent turn out.

    Colchester (Home) Match Thread

Jones is a rookie and hopefully one for the future, has come from Dagenham bottom of division 4 so let's not hang too much on him just yet

    If we lose tonight

I think a lot will depend on where the club and ceo Anderson want to be and what they intend to do to get there

    Fleck leaving

    That's ok, love Rupert

    If we lose tonight

He definitely won't be sacked, but I'm not certain he will stay.

    Fleck leaving

All players are vulnerable to injury it's part and parcel of football. I personally think play offs are a dead duck so giving the Bulgarian some game time makes sense, there are only 8!games left so if he did get a knock hardly the end of the world is it ?

    If we lose tonight

This is a match I believe we cannot afford to lose or even draw, not necessarily for play off reasons but the fans, patience with the manager is getting thinner

    Fleck leaving

Sorry what bollox ! Clubs have been signing players mid season for donkeys years often changing the season for their clubs IF you sign the right ones that is,

Say what you like Westley out done Mowbray

Let's put this in prospective we have signed a couple of 18 year olds plus this Bulgarian guy. Forget the Maddison money little or none of that will be spent on players, Anderson has clearly stated the budget if we stay in this division will be similar to this season and he has already revised...
