Did not look up to the wing back role imho on limited viewing admittedly. Incidentally given where Swindon are, maybe that wasn't a bad friendly to play

We need to see Pask in a proper competitive match (he did play at Swindon in the friendly and looked ok to me). Of the three McFadz is the oldest and so is the most obvious choice to make way but it could just as easily be Hyam. I'd always keep Rose.

Goalie tick Back 3 tick midfield 4 tick Front 3 Perm two from Shipley, Allen, Westbrooke, O'Hare, and one from Godden or Baka I'd consider resting the front three as a block after their recent efforts. League comes first

    No planned incoming activity

Oh, and there is now no question to which Bright is the answer. Lovely footballer, very creative, but undisciplined. Walsh, Allen, O'Hara, Shipley and Westbrooke are all much more disciplined and playing for the team. Much as I like watching a Dandy Dan like Bright, and yes he did win games for...

    No planned incoming activity

Cash flow is an issue to be reckoned with, so off loading may not free up resources, just pay the bills. Don't want to be Bury - promoted and kerplonk! So questions before we rush in. 1. When is Jobello back? And does he fit the current shape? 2. Are any of the Under 23's strong enough for the...

1968? We came from behind to beat Chelsea, Gerry Baker scored from an exquisite cross from the man pictured to the left. Coventry's slowest ever winger, Ernie Hannigan with the winner. George Hudson playing for Tranmere.

Fleetwood goal chalked off so back to 5th. And yes Bianca Westwood can barely contain her disappointment at Wycombe's demise

Match Thread Shrewsbury Town vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 14th Dec

The Ipswich looked pretty good even if it is only one up front. O'Hare and Shipley are better than Hiwula and Jobello were earlier in the season at getting up to support the lone striker. This was the shape he played during his fist stint with us as manager

If we win the replay, who do we want ?

I'd like to avoid a big club. Good Championship sides that we might just beat at home on a good day would suit me.

    Ex Player Watch

Does the good performances of some players after leaving here raise a question about Robins man management / player development skills? Not many were sad at the departure of Ogogo, JCH or Chaplin. None of them performed that well for us. But they are seemingly performing well for someone else...

mid three: Westbrooke, Kelly, Allen Front two; Godden (Baka) & Biamou Look a striker in January, not the perennial calls for wingers. With 5-3-2 we don't need wingers so much, if at all.

    Barry Powell Trivia Quiz

Apropos of nothing at all I played football at the under 16 level against Barry Powell. His mates always said that when everybody else was off home, him and a guy called Geoff Brady would carry on kicking a ball under the lamppost light until they were dragged in by their parents. Everybody knew...

Milton Keynes vs Coventry City Match Thread (EFL Trophy) - Tuesday Dec. 3rd

I am not there tonight, but what I saw of Allen at Swindon pre-season he looked very useful. More useful than Bayliss in a League 1 situation, even tho TB clearly had more potential. I would have thought Zain W would be the man to give way
