are there many clubs in a worse situation than us?

2 other questions arise if sisu won etc. 1. would wasps then sue CCC and possibly Higgs? 2. are wasps chances of finding alternative financing easier than when the loan was first made? the acl now has at least one key tenant and the football club for at least 4 years.

not sure what the issue is. sisu said they were fighting this for the taxpayers. naturally if there are any financial gains for SISU they will give them to the taxpayers they are doing this for.

swansea is not necessarily the best example. one it had no outstanding stadium debt to deal with. Secondly aren't they under an Eu investigation on how the rental deal was done and financed?

fisher makes it easy for the council by claiming it could cost 2 million a year. how can a 14 million loan returning 40 million be bad business?

i just don't see wasps wanting to work with SISU. There isn't much in SISU's history that makes it seem an attractive partner. they don't seem to have any interest in making the football club successful. they have achieved next to nothing in 7 years of running the club. they have a history of...

has Fisher ever said the club will build and own the stadium? I've only seen statements from him that a company will own the stadium and the club would have the opportunity to "access" more revenue streams.

i don't get the either you're ccfc or wasps. i don't see any evidence that Wasps are impacting (or will impact)on the football club crowds or fanbase. maybe some people will follow both as the home games will never clash. i haven't heard anyone say I'm giving up the football now the wasps are here.

Seeing as the club won't own the stadium it'll be interesting to see what level of rent it has to pay and whether the rent is linked to how much interest the property company has to pay. Along with this reported shortening of the term it was suggested in the same report that the loan had been reduced to 13 million. How would those numbers stack up?

wasn't the deal extended to 2025 a couple of years ago?

i haven't seen any confirmation of les reid's claim that the term and amount of the loan had been reduced.just going off the last published accounts including the post balance events notes.

obviously it's a shame he isn't playing for us but I'm happy to see a local lad doing well and furthering his career. any issues are about the club selling and how the money was used not the lad himself. personally as he's a local lad i hope to see him playing in the premier league one day.

the problem with is that unfortunately it is just supposition. it would be nice to be in the position to see whether it would be true or not. we do know that the response to reduced income has been cost- cutting rather than extra investment.

but you do wonder whether they are just securing a value for Fleck and that a bid of a 150-200k would probably see him move on in the summer.

if wasps can't pay off 14 million plus interest over 40 years then they don't deserve to be running a chip van let alone an arena. the loan is until 2053.

really - need to explain how to clubs like bolton, blackburn, cardiff, Middlesbrough, qpr to name but a few. that's before you look at a host of championship clubs wirh massive debt who haven't managed to get there yet.

never happen. ccc will never sell to a sisu property company and sisu are never going to buy it as a football club.
