£61m of debt wiped out in latest CCFC accounts

not really sure what your point is. aren't both companies debts mainly to their owners? wasps took positive steps to improve their situation we need to do the same. wasps couldn't do a deal in Wycombe so adapted. Club couldn't do a deal here so need to adapt. I don't see how otium's negative...

£61m of debt wiped out in latest CCFC accounts

it's like les reid not properly quoting the Wasps quote about being "high risk of going bust" actually it was about their ground situation in Wycombe and was "if we stay as we are, losing 3 million a year . outcome high risk of going bust". so they reacted positively to the situation and changed...

£61m of debt wiped out in latest CCFC accounts

I find this extraordinary and misleading that these 61 million loans came from the owners. is there any evidence that they have put over 100 million into the club? I see nothing in the historic accounts which show where sisu have put in this extra 61 million.

£61m of debt wiped out in latest CCFC accounts

good I thought I was misreading something as well. isn't this write off something that Appleton referred to at the time of the administration? wasn't it old historical debt rather than anything put into the club by SISU?

Council Accused Of 'Absurd' Ricoh Secrecy

I suppose the dream scenario for SISU and / or the club would be the result of any investigation is that the loan gets called in and ACL struggle to refinance. At that point you would assume the lease would revert back to CCC and be available for sale to other interested parties. It may well at...

Is it not time to stop this childish crap?

trust & the club have fallen out before over the centre and runming costs. sorted it out fairly quickly. sure they can do the same again. bit of a storm in a teacup.

    SCG Meeting

how about once and for all who would own the stadium? The football club or would we again be in a tenancy situation? JS said in an interview a couple of years ago “I am not concerned about the funding of a stadium. I’m reasonable comfortable that won’t be an issue. Mrs Seppala said she...

OPen Letter Asking For Public Inquiry Over Wasps Deal

there'd be more support for an inquiry into SISU's ownership & management. the comparison is unfair in that SISU being a private company isn't held to the same standards of openness as the council. as for the morality arguments etc. haven't SISU already been found by the courts to have...

OPen Letter Asking For Public Inquiry Over Wasps Deal

I can't see it ever happening. would set a crazy precedent for local govt to have the possibility of every loan decision or asset sale to a private company being subject to a public enquiry. if the courts can't find anything wrong then the grounds for an enquiry aren't particularly strong...

OPen Letter Asking For Public Inquiry Over Wasps Deal

Jim brown's assertion that the club now is the most transparent he has seen it ( with the exception of the paul fletcher reign) makes me question his opinions.

    So who do we want?

    1. we haven't got time to wait to make an appointment. 2. what sort of management is it that hasn't been thinking about replacement managers for at least a couple of weeks?

    Waggot speaks

sorry there were 6 permanent signings for last season - only webster remains. 13 permanent signings this season. 20 loanees over the past 2 seasons. over 40 players have left the club. 1. the turnover of players seems to indicate a very disorganised approach to squad building and poor...

Would you take league 2 ...

even if we get away with it this year can you see anything other than relegation struggles for the foreseeable future? a change of ownership wouldn't affect the outcome of this season anyway.

Would you take league 2 ...

the club needs a reboot. There have been few occasions under SISU ownership where the footballing side looked like it was moving forward. We can revisit the financial side of stadium revenues etc. but sides with less income have managed to do better than we have. Key areas have been poor player...
