Rumour: Hoffman and Elliot takeover negotiations

don't think SISU are going to fall for the promotion add-on. Wasn't there a hefty promotion add-on they offered when they bought the club? Always going to be difficult to put a "credible" offer in for the club as owners & potential buyers will have a completely different value of the club debt.

    Oggy

Tommy English was an arrogant sod when he was here. Played non-league with him years later and had only slightly improved. Met a lot of our players late 70s and 80s weren't many bad ones.

Alan Curbishley on the Danny Baker Show

Heard your fans want Bradley Lowery to lead you out at Wembley . . .

For me I don't care that he supports Sunderland but he obviously loves football. Yes it would be good to offer the opportunity to any City young supporters in a similar situation (but I pray that there aren't any to be honest) Anything that can go towards raising the profile against childhood...

This Lot Won't Leep Us Up

watched the re-run this morning and the commentators quoted Ainsworth that at this level football is mainly about psychology as players' fitness & ability are roughly the same. Having been fairly comfortable 1st half the introduction of Akinfenwa brought immediate panic from the manager down...

Why didnt we sell any of our talented youngsters???

so probably has to sell an extra player in the summer to make up for League 2 prices. Doesn't really explain the Haynes situation as he can go for free in the summer can't he?

Why didnt we sell any of our talented youngsters???

unlikely. League 2 players by default will have a lower transfer value. as far as financial targets etc. surely cash in the bank is a positive?
