I think having them involved is part of their development. I think managers and coaches are better qualified in how to develop players and they do work with them everyday. I am sorry but fans will try anything out of desperation, but they rarely have real solutions to on field problems.

When he is fit I'm sure he will play - what more do you need to know? One alternate is to play him when he is not fit. Second alternative is to say he will be fit next week, then when next week comes say actually he isn't fit yet. Would the alternatives make you feel better?
