I think it is clear, that Moore was experiencing off field problems, without the club stating what they were.
But people still like to bash the goalkeeping coach for that loss of confidence/form.
I'm more interested on what he does in coaching sessions with his staff to be honest, but that will take several weeks.
I also hope that the 2nd half at Portsmouth is our nadir as it was even worse than the home performance against Derby under Robins and that was bad.
Players need to be told...
I agree but it does depend what fans expect from him? As a DM he is excellent.
If fans are expecting a creative midfielder, then they are going to be disappointed.
Just expect him to do the job he is best at.
I disagree. I think that is a deluded expectation, unless you are Doug King. Unless King is planning to spend big in January and I can't see that either because it is an inflated price window even for average players.
I don't actually think King 'expects' play offs as a 'minimum'.
Not true Robins has gone we move on. Lampard deserves time like any manager.
But he is proving what I have been saying for years - new manager bounce is a myth. Because it only takes a couple of games for players to return to type.
New manager, new coaches, new ideas. Coaching takes time...
That team could have Jobello on the other side. Another player that looked technically good but offered nothing. Da Silva isn't any good when he is forward. Just slows everything down and goes backwards. If he cuts inside he stumps himself because he has nothing off his right foot. Also...
In his last season with us Gyokeres should of had scores about 30 goals and not 21, he missed loads of one on ones.
In fact strikers will tell you one on ones are the hardest chances to score. You have too much time and over think the options.
Has Kitching ever been on form since he came here? Not to my eyes. Just a player who thinks he is something he isn't, far too sparky and has his buttons pressed too easily. A total liability.
Cheers for clearing that up. Part of the confusion for me was the ref indicated where the kick was. Then as he ran off a player threw it forward onto the half way line. Then they swopped who was taking the kick and he threw it forward again a yard into our half.
Just seemed like the normal...
I thought the support they had throughout the whole game at Portsmouth was absolutely outstanding. That level of support wasn't justified considering the level of effort and performance the players put in.
I think the comparison is apples and pears. Moore was a decent keeper then had a loss in confidence and form There were obviously off field problems.
Collins has just been dodgy from day one and time has shown him up as a crap keeper. Too many people had gone over the top with criticising...
The refs performance wasn't the worst out there today. Come on stop deluding yourselves about refs!!!
Refs are no different to wind, rain and snow; just something you have to overcome.
