6 at home - one away coming up!

What we need from these fixtures is points against Forest, Derby and Wednesday. We really must not lose any one of those 3 games. Do that and we stay in the ascendancy. Win any of those 3 and it's a bonus.

6 at home - one away coming up!

Yes. But as we all know it is equally a home fixture! can hardly be called an away fixture can it in reality? ):

6 at home - one away coming up!

A strange twist in the fixture list effectively means in the next 7 games (after Reading) only one is 'away' at Cardiff. Among those we face Wednesday, Forest, and Brum, key games against teams around us.

Difficult game this. Hope we are ready and fired up for it becuase we need to keep gaing points where ever we can to just keep our noses in front of that chasing pack behind us. Would be very happy with a point.

    Bournemouth

He was with them before for a while and the option was not taken up under Eddie Howe. Now the new manager thinks differently. never rated him that highly personally. He played in a very good Arsenal side and had his moments. Injury prone is an understatement!

    Rangers interested in Hamer

The one player we can ill afford to let go would be Hamer. Suicide if we did that.

Very sad to hear it. I hope it changes soon enough for you and your mum.

Anyone else fed up, what's your story?

The point of mentioning the boat was the Florida weather, and the mould can be serious and with various other factors, engines etc all around a salt water enviroment is not a good thing at all. I stand to loose 10,s of thousands if I have to sell it on if there are too many issues worth...

Anyone else fed up, what's your story?

So I got two businesses and both are currently shut down thanks to Covid. Income zero, yet there are still expenses associated with both and almost no help what so ever. So as I plan and work on the future plans, and get ready to start back up, there is only so much you can do. You tend to lose...

Best TV shows or movies you can recommend

Yeah After Life is pretty good whether Ricky Gervais is your cup of tea or not. Very clever and surreal funny. Must admit bad language can spoil a good thing sometimes, but they get away with it here. Rather like many of todays comedians who get a laugh evry time they use the word fuck, like in...

    Match Thread Sheffield Wednesday

I was the announcer there for a few games back in the late 80's when we had the likes of Lee Chapman and co. Always had a soft spot for them and sad to see where they are at just now. they are a big club and belong in the premier league. So don't wish any bad on them, but I'm a Coventry kid.

    Sheff Wed postponed

Good timing for us tbh. We have enough sick notes around the place and gives walker a chance to be back. Got lots to work on and concentrate on a new loanee perhaps. It's all good.

    Hilsner loaned out

The lads had issues but is now relatively fit, just needs game time and lots of it. he will be a star at Oldham and that will also feed into his confidence. Nothing wrong in that and look forward to him coming back fit and with a glowing report.

    Striker?

    Well there you go.....

    Striker?

Well like I said, MR's I'm sure would have taken him in a heart beat BUT for his wages which puts us out the picture. As a side to what you say....Charlie Austin in the championship would not be crap!

    Striker?

Too old? he's 31. What's the gamble on a striker of his calibre when what we have is rank hopeless at the moment with our two main strikers out for a long period? We need to gamble to survive. We need goals. I think MR's would have taken him in a heart beat and paying his wages will have been...

    Striker?

I see Charlie Austin has left WBA on loan to QPR for the season. A goal poacher still only 31 and maybe someone we could have done with right now? I guess the wage ratio is too high for us?
