If our currency drops again, imports, including materials for manufacturing will become more expensive, as will food imports which will reduce spending power on other goods and services. At some point things will pick up, but that is also dependent on how long it takes to adjust, and whether we...

Our exports include parts for manufacturing from the EU. Why would the EU want to stop that? Are you seriously claiming that the EU is deliberately controlling our exchange rate?

Of course not. They are in a monetary union and have to keep within the rules. They bent the rules and made concessions to their voters. Made it in effect more expensive to employ people and reduced the incentive to work. Interest rates have risen and the hoped for stimulus hasn’t happened...

Yes, she has said she will help, but that Italy has to remember it’s responsibility to the Eurozone ( of which it is a member of ). Note, „it’s responsibility to the Eurozone.“ The Italian government are screwing their economy on their own.

She doesn’t decide what Italy have to do. Italy is a member of a monetary union. They answer to them and not to Merkel.

As a sovereign nation they have lived above their means for years. They had agreed to try and stop increasing sovereign debt. Then came the populists and changed the plan. Eventually settling for a relatively minor adjustment. The whole farce didn’t help Italy and increased interest rates.

Who says anything anti UK? Saying Farage is a liar is not anti UK. Saying Brexit is a crock of shit is neither pro EU nor anti UK.

I proved that no one had to react to stop the pound climbing. The reaction was to break the fall. Farage’s mates made a fortune after Farage saying leave had lost, pound went up, then the truth came out and the pound fell. They made a fortune on Farage’s one lie. The pound went up when people...

Just say something anti EU and see where the likes come from. They may not be actual fans because you manage to insult most people on some thread at some time, but they will agree with you on anti EU things. Especially „4. Reich“ „Führer Merkel“ „EUSSR“ „ Protectionist club“ etc..

When Funk made his speech outlining plans for a successful Europe, the Nazis already controlled most of it. They had to have Europe working in unison whether they were Nazis or not as the Europe of small nations would not be able to compete with the other large blocs: the British Empire, the...

No it wouldn’t. The pound would go up on the possibility of ending this disaster. We didn’t devalue as a strategy. We are at the mercy of the markets.
