Agree with that - think Bournemouth are as good as Swansea, but tend to be a bit more inconsistent (have to say, I do think that Billing for Bournemouth is a very good player)

Results looking a lot healthier now. A Wycombe win (or draw) keeps Derby in and around the mix. Results have turned right around for us so far this evening. Apparently Stoke were poor and Wednesday even poorer.

Bristol City manager will be gone by the weekend (hope Paul Cook doesn't take them over and revitalise them) They have gone to bits. Huddersfield are really on a downer too,

Really don't want a Sheff wed win tonight (Stoke fans are really down on their team at the moment). On Saturday we really could do with a Sheff Wed v Blues draw (as it stops either gaining a significant leap) Not asking for much, but please!!!

My wife thinks it's a cool sort of lockdown time filler - like a giant word search. Can't find mine, but spotted Juggy within about 5 seconds 🤣

Basically we want a few home wins. Until I had a closer look, i hadn't realised how out of form Stoke (in particular) and Middlesboro were. Let's hope they can turn up tonight!

Agreed - but he set up Kelly's winner at Wycombe with a back post header, hit the bar more than once, and had a few cleared off the line. If he plays for the rest of the season, I'd reckon on him bagging at least a couple more, plus he frees up the other players (like Fadz) at set pieces, as...

I don't think you can afford to lose Osti's aerial threat. Our main threat is likely to come from set pieces, so I'd keep him in based on that alone/ Fadz may be found a place for that aspect too, although I'm not sure how I'd accommodate him.

I had wondered, and am hoping Mrs covkid1968 can be persuaded by our esteemed fellow poster to divert funds towards a new stadium, If you don't ask, and all that....

    Sunderland forum

I posted on there, being my usual polite and nice, but most think I am on the wind up, although there are one or two normal posters. To be fair to them, their forum has an incredible amount of traffic on it, putting most of The Championship clubs to shame.

    Don't sweat the small stuff

A phrase that I came across years ago in a Stephen King novel. which I liked and it resonated with me, in that I tend to have that approach to life. Hence, if somebody breaks something in our household, I always think 'it's just an object' and any other adverse events tend to be met with a...

A year ago today we won 2-0 at Southend (as a reminder to any who have forgotten how the quality of opposition has changed within 12 months!) it was the first time I have struggled (when sober) to open a pub door (due to the gale blowing along Southend sea front)!!

Not going to lie Clint, in several posts I have alluded to having a modicum of intelligence, but headed straight for Google for this 🤣

    Man management this season

I suspect those clubs are all those that are at least a season ahead of us in terms of being established in The Championship (Barnsley have done a fantastic job, although they have had at least 2 ? manager changes in that time) Rotherham have also spent a season in The Championship whilst we had...

    Relegation Rivals' Weekend Fixtures

They are average, unless they get Armstrong away down the middle, then they are dangerous. Stop him (or the service to him) and you are halfway there (especially as Bradley Dack is carrying an extra stone or so around his gut)

Hamer ? Name 2 or 3 talented players that we should be after and how much they would cost us (approx) , and then ask yourself if we have the money available for that. I await your reply with interest.
