Just watched a video of all of Huckerby's goals for us. In August 98 he scored v Chelsea from a Dublin flick on and the commentator referred to the pair having netted 37 (or 38?) goals between them the previous season (97/98) Wow - forgot that they were that prolific!

You must love Osti then, Nick (as do I); he literally looks and acts as though he is itching for a scrap every time we have a corner; particularly if it's one of those that takes an age due to pushing, shoving, grappling. Refs really do cop out on making any sort of decisions during those.

During yesterday's game against Swansea, there was an incident about 10 mins from time, when a Swansea player by the left touchline in our half tried to shield the ball out for a throw in and our player put his leg around their player and kept it in play. Their player stumbled over and screamed...

If we are chasing a game, or having to go long, I would be tempted to bring on e.g. Rose, to replace him at the back and let him go and play as a target man. He wins the majority of headers; just needs to be coached not to give away needless fouls, as his aerial ability and presence will create...
