Aaaargh! Farage just showed on my Handy.... He is using the tried tactics of right wing dictators, and seems to have roped in some right wing Tories... judging by you posting fan pictures on here...

    Local elections

No, I didn’t. I said that although you cannot count the local elections as a mini referendum, the liberals being remain didn’t stop people voting for them. I also said that the combination of remain parties will come out about the same % as the Farage Party.

    Local elections

The angry people are more likely to vote than people who are just getting on with their lives. Farage is winding people up and telling them that politicians are conspiring against them. He claims the people just want to leave. He doesn’t mention the at least half that want to remain at his...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Yes.. you’re right. I thought it seemed familiar ;-). It just shows how low he will stoop to get his views across. It works though, judging by his polling. Exactly the same Modus operandi as his bedfellow Trump. Aim for the lowest common denominator to pick up the most votes. Hard to use...

The man on Alex Jones: Nigel Farage under fire over ‘antisemitic tropes’ on far-right US talkshow | Nigel Farage | The Guardian How anyone can vote for this scum is beyond me. He should be polling under 5% and be in the freak category, but he has his own radio show, the support of the tabloid...

No, it’s the Liberals who had the best day in years in the local elections. I wonder why you think that’s odd?

I don’t need cans of Strongbow. I have a pub called Strongbow’s full of beer and cider. And we do Fish n Chips. We don’t allow smoking or reading the Sun or Express, so he won’t be visiting my pub. We will have a Brexit Party though when the whole Brexit thing collapses in flames.

    Local elections

No. As I said before, the pro remain parties split the remain vote. Added together they will not be far behind at the end of the day.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Yes, but would they get enough to form a Lb Lab coalition? Even if we have left the EU by the next election the story will not be over. There are years of negotiations to come plus probable economic damage to contend with. Remain will become rejoin.

    Just a quote from someone else ( a different take ): „All declared now (20:45) Tories 3562 (-1332) Labour 2021 (-81) LibDems 1344 (+700) Independents 1044 (+606) UKIP 31 (-145) Greens 265 (+194) LibDems & Greens both out-performed best expectations by a lot. Labour under-performed by...

The gist of that is that, as a minority partner in a coalition with your mates, they sold their soul to have some say. Is there a list of the other side of their trade offs? Perhaps not.

I don’t think he comes close to Farage or Trump.

No no no.......... I think your leader is a contender for that honour... and if you go international, his bedfellow in the USA has beaten the 10000 lie mark in his presidency already. World record even for politicians.

He is standing as an independent for the reason I have already given. The last general election is history, as is the Brexit referendum. Their EU MEPS have been reduced by Farage swapping parties. Awaits the cry of traitor... should give up his mandate.... etc etc. Long wait. Soubry and co were...

No. I am saying the Tories will be hammered as will UKIP. Labour would beat Farage if they took a clear line either way. At the moment they are losing hard core on both sides.
